Well ....... its the Club spending some of the Murphy transfer fee from last year ....... o_O

But I agree ..... the players in so far have been a substantial improvement on the last few we've had in, other than Sharp.

If these two do happen, then we just need GK, CH, CM, CF, and a wide midfield / winger to start to look as if we may be competitive for the first time since a certain striker went on holiday, curtesy of HMP !!

Bahahahaha....oh you're serious?

I know, right! How come you never get 100% of the fanbase saying exactly the same thing? Crazy!

Let's all slag the Internet WUM "fans" off for having concerns that couldn't possibly be more well founded!

Corrected for you there.

Would also accept "wet blankets".

I hate to say it but looks like for once we seem to be working well in the transfer market and getting a good set of players for this coming season, looking forward to the season, just hope after a fair few games it feels nothing like it did last year, that would be crushing!

Wilder or Knill (Can't remember who said this) said that if we can't agree a fee with mk dons for him b end of the week, we are moving on
that was wilder mate it was on one of the Star's articles can't remember which one though

Perhaps if we had confidence in the Board, the manager and the players this would happen ......

Lets wait and see how we line up at Bolton before we get moist in the panties region ......

UTB & FTP
Bit late for that, been a bit moist for a while now

And today is Friday...end of the working week.

Hopefully we are playing a blinder here. And by that I mean that we sign O'Connell for a fee....looking to MK like we have got another player instead.
The kicker being....that we were always going to sign him and want both. So give it a few weeks, when Kyle has fallen further out with the smarmy scouser, MK have a player they won't play and now want to sell......price to come down when the player is refusing to go anywhere else but us?

So by end ofAugust MK have no option but to cave in and accept our now lower offer because "we have less money having paid for O Connell"

That would be playing hard ball!
You on drugs? ;)

But not in this instance?

No - Knill made it clear we were still in for him.

If any deal is dead I presume it would be the Kilgallon deal.

We're also in a much less desperate situation to negotiate in having two extra central defenders on the books – MK Dons may well have thought they could hold on for more cash. Might be they end up taking a leaf out of our book and call us back about an offer they originally rejected...

Ricky , would never slag off the fans . Should know that . I have travelled far and wide , London to Merseyside , and there is only one place we want to be , and that is Shoreham Street , that is magnifeek , where Wednesdayites lay dead at our feet.

We just have no fucking patience when Wilder is pulling all stops out. Patience is a virtue putting a side 5/6 years in this division .

You hate to say it? Really? How odd.

It's not about having patience with Wilder and belief in him, I think he's convinced us all he knows what's needed and can deliver it. It's about not trusting the club to get things done, which given their failure every single season is completely understandable. Not that the fans being patient or impatient makes one bit of difference to anything.

I think they wanted to let it be known that they knew first about all our signings.

Which they didn't.

To be honest that account is usually very much on the money, and early on as well - about most clubs not just us.
