Che Adams to be sold sometime in August I assume.

I have to admit, much as I would like to see Che become the new Owen/Rooney/Townsend/Oxblade C etc., at the moment following last season I would cash in. Pity we didn't with DiG when Juve came calling.

Ge-oer zablade let the clappers have their fun after all they have been waiting and getting it wrong for at least five years for us to show a bit of ambition. Still you can't stand in a players way when a bigger club like Wigan come knocking ....... we shall see ;)

I get what your saying but isn't Wigan still receiving parachute payments? I apologise if i'm wrong
 
i think an Adams deal is imminent,the best scenario if it happens is to a premier club, who loans him back for the season, like the Alli move from mk Dons to Spurs
Really think that Che will flourish under Wilder and co..shame if he leaves now

Depends what the job is. What do you expect from Che this season? He scored 12 last year in a poor side, a poor season and i'd say a below par season for what talent he has. I'd put this down to also being played without a real position.

To be honest, i'm not sure where Wilder intends to play Che, i would've taken a guess at up front. However, With Billy as captain, perhaps a new target man in front of billy we'll either play che and Billy in behind the target man, put Che out wide (right, now that we have left footed fleck) or Che will be warming the bench a lot...

Given that Scoogs is now back in favour, does he then fill the role in behind the two strikers?

So i would've expected Che to be be looking at a 15-20 goal season, throwing a number of assists in there and playing a variety of roles.

I'd see done more likely as an impact player, playing the Peschisolido role and bagging 10 in the season at best... for me he's up to a job, but perhaps not as versatile as Che

If the worse thing happens & we sell him I think a sell on clause is what the hierarchy should impose
 
Well any kick in the bollocks would be a very gentle kick in the bollocks. Because realistically nothing disastrous can happen.

Only losing Sharp would count as that and that simply isn't going to happen.

Adams and DCL are not important players, neither is Brayford.

I'm not worried in the slightest about any departures. My only concern would be getting suitable deals for them - with sell on clauses an absolute must.

My main worry is that we could fail to secure the extra two or three signings needed to really get us up there.

Great reply mate, maybe watching him play in a position he's not suited to was letting my mind run away with things

Are you not happy that we might be progressing? That we might have got a management team that could get us promoted?
Your comments seem very bitter towards fellow Blades who are showing a bit of optimism.

I like Done, but i don't think he's quite the player that Che should be this season. Looking forward to seeing Wilder's no nonsense set up and approach. i can't really see him playing a complicated formation, most likely that he'll go 4-4-2 or 4-3-3/4-5-1 but as i say, I'm not sure where Che fits into that.... if we're getting a target man.

Done would be easier to fit in, but from the bench or wide right (at a guess)
 
Wilder is trying to build a team to get out of L1...if that means sacrificing some of the chabbies with potential, then so be it...
