I just wanna see for 1 more season, see if he flourishes this year. If not, then sell him

Got talking to a lad who lives in the same block of flats as my daughter a few weeks ago. i think he's doing some type of sports degree or something connected. He's a Bournemouth supporter. He said that they were having a good look at Che and we're going to make a bid. Maybe he was talking crap but I think he has some connection with the club as he's always wearing Bournemouth training gear and really appeared to know a lot about the club. I'm not claiming to be ITK

Sell Che,bank the money until JTW,then buy Ched (all dependent on him not being re-done as a rapist, and he is banging goals in for Chesterfield)

bank the money until JTW??? Worst advice ever. Just for once can we please not pin all our hopes on the JTW???

For what it's worth, seeing what other players have gone for recently, I'd like to think we could get £2m up front for Che and rising to £3-3.5m in add ons, would also like a sell on clause too. But knowing our negotiaters....

Based on his performances in the second half of last season, that would be a fee of Tebilyesque proportions.

We need to factor in Ilkeston's sell on clause when we come to sell him. We need to be getting at least £1.5m up front for ourselves, and a sell on clause of our own of at least 20% should be an absolute, non negotiable condition of any sale.

I'd be wore than willing to sell Adams but selling both him and DCL would stink - but we've got previous for doing that sort of thing. If we are to sell them both we at least need to get good deals.

I think some of us (those who think it's an acceptable bid) have forgotten how mad football finance has become: Watford turned down £25m for Deeney.

Che, while missing some of the required positional skills and (like other have mentioned) perhaps lacks a trick or two, has incredible strength, good pace and an eye for goal. These are all extremely desirable skills to a PL club.

We are a selling club, every team has their price: just look at Liverpool with Sterling/Saurez. But we should hold out for a fair price, that reflects his potential. I'd be demanding at least £3m upfront with a sizeable sell on fee.

So naturally, I'm sure we'll accept £750k now, and £750k of he wins the golden boot.

And 200k if he makes 10 Scotland appearances.

Do a Spurs and sell him for a quid with a signing on fee to us.

Brit Assombolonga(sp) went for about £8m to Forest after one season at P'boro scoring 23 goals in 43 games for them, Adams has scored half the amount in roughly the same amount of games but no where near the same amount of minutes due to sub appearances in a shite side not even playing upfront, surely Adams is worth £4m on that alone? Or, shall we keep getting pittance for our raw talent?

Again, this article could all be bollocks.

According to wiki it was rumoured to be £5m rising to £8m with add ons. Watford had a 50% transfer clause as they knew he was a good prospect following his 43 appearances for Southend and his appearances on loan for Posh.

Heard the same, Bournemouth, enquiry rather than official approach.

Cheers Bush! So on that report then we should be hoping for £2.5m to £3m before add ons and also depending on what percentage Ilkeston put into the deal? That should just about clinch it.

Have Ilkeston got a release clause?

Assombonga was smashing L1 with Posh and was highly rated, more so than Che. I'm guessing contract lengths were similar so yeah, if he goes to a championship club I'd expect £2.5-3m. If he goes to a PL club, a bit more than that.

I don't know if they have got a sell on clause in the contract. I'm guessing they will have knowing our previous contract negotiators, what it is will be anyone's guess. To be honest it would be very dumb of Ilkeston to not put one in the contract.

And that's about as much as £1m would achieve. Certainly won't prompt investment in the team. We have to get the costs down first.

Well ... we had to buys a fucking PITCH last season to assuage the rising costs of abandoned games and fixture pile ups and injuries and ... and ...

Why exactly did we install a desso pitch, again, folks?

pommpey

Being a third division club this is the pot we piss in...

Even those some people think we deserve...

The plug at the side of the toilet makes it look like one of those Saniflo's. Too much paper and they get jammed a bit like a fax machine..... Oh hang on I see what you're doing here Pierre - giving us a clue so as to let us down gently.

Mainly just to piss you off but also to raise income during the close season. We're hiring it out to the Senior Blades to use as a bowling green.

well lasat season we turned down first murphy of a million and got another half a mill
so makes sense to try and up any fee we get for Adams

If we are paying money for players we will recoup it by selling players.

The only shock is that we may sell before the season rather than the last week in August.

We've still got to foot the bill for paying that oxygen stealing parasitic cunt Dean Hammond off
