Here's Cardiff's away kit launch pic. Look familiar? Please don't tell me Adidas are bringing out AD templates now!

I wonder if they tweeted this hilarious bullshit endorsement to them as well.....

Good kit, poor sponsors -
Alpha Rooms - makes me think of some down market high street amusement arcade
Door Deals - ffs!

Love the kit! It's original and the alpharooms logo blends in nicely. Wonder what the away kit will be like...

I agree to a certain extent, the Alpharooms sponsor looks quite good but the back sponsor, doors.co.uk or whatever it is looks tacky. But we can't be picky when we're in L1, it's not like Emirates or Qatar are going to want to sponsor us. Maybe HRH can pull a few strings and get the Saudi national airline on board ;)

I do like the new kit, loving the black shoulders, its something different and I think it works for a United kit.
Still not sure about the tick stripes but I can live with it.
I think we are still behind other clubs with addidas kits since we have the three stripes on the shoulder instead of the new on the side stripes.

Already noticed differences in the shirts from photographs posted online.

Must be to do with shirt size(s)

I think it is more to do with the Stripe Width, smaller Shirt, less Stripes

The Stripe width should be proportional to the Shirt Width, making all the Shirts have the same proportions

Its is the 21st Century, but doing a shirt down to a price is still the way

For those who seem to always have bits of their shirt peeling in the wash.....apparently you aren't supposed to use fabric conditioner in the wash with them, as its this that causes the ironed on logos to crack and peel.
Also suggest washing inside out....and finally wearing another garment underneath so it doesn't require washing as often.

Might change my name to laundry blade.

So you're saying that if I want to keep the awful looking back logo on the shirt I should under no circumstances use fabric softener when washing it? Cheers for that.

On the other hand those that want to remove the door deals logo - use fabric softener!

well yes, I'm sure it is more expensive to print fabric with different widths to suit different sized cuts, though I'm sure when I had a Hobbot, 'Ajax' style shirt, mine had a narrower central stripe than the men's sizes did.

I suspect its because there is 'uneconomic' wastage of cloth that adidas® back out of making shirts with striped sleeves - all the more ironical and sad because the shirts now are made out of 2 dozen? pieces of fabric sewn together whereas, the 1970 England shirt which I am currently modelling is made up of 7 pieces.

In other words, labout costs are cheaper than printing costs, which is very sad. Where are the new kits made?

Lol.....though it is worth bearing in mind it's repeated washing using fabric conditioner that does it!

Fuck me. This is what Mumsnet must be like.

Endless discussions about washing, washing powder & fabric softener and the colour of the shorts and socks.

We have got a proper red and white shirt back. Rejoice and get your delicate hands out of the washing up bowl.

Can anyone recommend a good hand cream? Fuck me.

I'm hoping the people on here bothered about the shirt are either under 14 years old, buying them for kids or buying them to wear when playing football themselves. If not grow the fuck up and buy some proper clothes :)
