We keep hearing from the local media, McCabe and also Wilder about having to work within a limited budget next year and that we have limited resources.
I really don't understand how this is the case if comparing us with the rest of the division. Surely when talking about budgets or resources its relative to the league you are in.
I'm not suggesting we go out and spend millions, but surely we should be in the top 3 budgets in this division next year (with MK Dons and maybe Charlton ahead of us).
So why are we being fed the "working with a limited budget" line all of a sudden.
Without this turning into a McCabe bashing thread - does anyone out there have some good, sensible insight into how we could possibly have a low/average budget when compared to the rest of the division?
