Sheffield United are hosting a “Meet The Manager” forum in the Platinum Suite on Thursday 18th July 2013, as part of the club’s ongoing commitment to engage with supporters.
Doors will open at 7pm and the sixth highest capped Scottish international of all time will take part in a question and answer session in what should give an interesting insight to David Weir’s vision and plans for the future.
Having already begun to shape his first team and imprint his own style on things, it will be the first opportunity for supporters to converse with Weir in a dedicated event. Having had chance to assess the majority of the squad and try out a few different ideas, the new gaffer recently revealed Richard Cresswell will be leaving the club, despite featuring in Scotland and that he’s more than just keen on Lyle Taylor, the Falkirk striker partaking in a medical on Monday evening.
These subjects and no-doubt many more will be covered on the night, with the new Blades manager fielding questions from the floor.
350 tickets were snapped up quickly for the event, but don’t worry if you aren’t one of those able to attend, as ever, we’ll be covering the event live for you here on S24SU.com and via our Twitter feed – twitter.com/s24su.
Many of you will want to proffer your opinions and debate the evening with fellow Blades; whilst we’ll be a little busy covering proceedings to respond ourselves (though we occasionally do so during breaks!) you’ll be in good company on our forum – http://www.s24su.com/forum – where you can set the world to rights 24 hours a day.
