Once in royal Sean beans city, stood a lowly piggy shed, then chris wilder came to save us dumping crap upon their heads….hail our saviours blessed return, mourn the points that we have spurned, sing it loud at brammal lane, chris is here to win again.

Wilder is a far better manager than his recent jobs have shown but Heckingbottom was just a tactical continuation of him, so going back to him will not change anything.

So are you trying to say this season we’ve tried to play pass and move possession football, overloading the wings? The general play under Wilder was decent, we went down because we struggled to score.

That’s been the issue this season no one has been able to explain what our plan A was apart from give it to Norwood and be’ll boot high and long to Archer who always loses in the air against much taller defenders, we constantly give up possession inviting pressure on the defence again. Can understand this tactic slightly with McBurnie up front but with Archer it makes zero sense.

Although I am not sure about Wilders return… I have to say, for the first time this season, we are getting coverage all over the news channels. Like him or loathe him, he will certainly raise our profile in the premier League.

As fans we now need to come together and back him and help him to make Bramall Lane a fortress again …. A horrible place for visiting teams to come. We may still go down, but let’s now show some fight!

So … for now… he will get my 100% support!

Realistically we’re fickle people if Wilder comes in and wins 3 on the bounce and showed us fight may be even lifted us out of the bottom 3 then there would be a wind of change and to be fair why not? It’s the football that counts!

That's not been fickle! That would be a miracle that anybody would applaud.

Surprised you can see the difference in performances.
Wilder spent 50 million each season

Think back to the Wilder relegation season, we were competive in almost evert match.
Many game looked like 2 evenly matched teams but we really struggled to score, we lost so many matches by 1 goal.
There was 1 dreadful performances under Wilder, when we lost 0-5 away at Leicester, this was Wilders last match.

Now compare it to this season.
Hecky has spent 60 million this season less 30 million brought in on sales = 30 million net spend.
We look at least a division maybe even 2 divisions below the opposition.
You really believe we have no chance of winning a single game and the chance of becoming the worse PL in history is a real possibility.
It's not so much the results, it's the performances, our only hope is that the opposition feel sorry for us and take their foot of the pedal.

We've slipped so much, this could actually be the least competitive Sheffield UInited side in our 134 year history.
Wilder has proven he doesn't need money to get players to play as a team, he will also ensure the players give 100%.
It's not much to ask, should be a minimum really. Don't mind losing but at least give your best and don't give up.
If I remember correctly mcgoldrick kept missing chance after chance that season

He looks the part as well now. Trousers, shoes, long black coat. The Dapper Don.

We were saying on the Kop...that Wilder is massively better than Hecky regards substitutions.

Hecky seems to decide the timing and personel of the substitutions before the match starts.
Where as today Wilder watches the match and makes subs based on what he sees.

He isn't afraid to make changes early.
