A quote by Wilder in the Yorkshire Post………
”Off the pitch things are happening and there’ll be some positive news coming out”
it could be news we are all craving for, but then again it could be the hole in the ceiling at the training ground will be repaired before the start of next season. I’m becoming very cynical in my old age!

Please please let the hole be sorted …I won’t rest now until I know …and another thing , if it isn’t sorted I will never ever forgive you for building my hopes up

A lorry of Peroni and sandwiches just arrived at Shirecliffe.

Hopefully the good news includes, Arblaster, Jebbo, Cat 1 academy & Hotel

It's Red Bull they are fed up of waiting for Chancer too sell up.

Seriously though it will be something like
Season tickets staying the same price..

Although to add a little wood to the fire somebody at work told me Wilder had told a friend of his that he's confident we'll go straight back up next season, jokingly i said why is he getting the sack.
So maybe there is something going on in the background regards Investment/Takeover...

The Prince said in that YouTube interview bettis would be doing a interview "in January" and announcing training/academy plans obviously it's been delayed for now

The back door has been unlocked and the hinges oiled to ensure it opens when needed.

The good positive news will be that he's fucked off again.

Even if your colleague's friends friend heard it right - what do you expect Wilder to say - " The owner is useless, they'll be sVd all money for players and we'll probably get relegated"?

A new owner is the only good news that will lift my expectations for next season which are rock bottom. Wonder if the bookies are already giving odds for who will be relegated from the Championship?
The league is really bad other than the top 3 maybe 4 Inc Southampton. Teams like Plymouth, Stoke, Cardiff, Birmingham, Blackburn, Bristol, Derby, Wednesday, Millwall are miles off from where we are now.

Millhouses the Pigs just put 3 past WBA today and didn't concede. If we were playing WBA at home next week do you think we would better that?

How we do next year is totally dependent on the rebuild, let's hope we get it right or its gonna be a very uncomfortable season

Personally, I'm not one for celebrating the hotel and Cat 1 academy as the parachute payments will likely be paying for them leaving very little for Wilder to use for transfers.

The off field ventures should help finance the football team, not vice versa. This is Kevin McCabe mentality.

What's the point in a Cat 1 academy and a nice hotel when your football team ends up being shit and run on tuppence as a result?

We've penny pinched all season and what will we have to show for it? A squad to push for promotion next season? No chance. 16 are out of contract. Most are past and it and crap, or injury prone. The remainder were terrible transfers or players we'll be lucky to make our money back on, but most likely a loss. Even then the wage bill has to reduce for sustainability and we're starting next season on minus 2 points.

We are a mess of a football club on and off the pitch.

Fuck the hotel.
Fuck the Cat 1 academy.
Fuck United World.
Fuck the owner and the board of directors.

SHEFFIELD UNITED FOOTBALL CLUB 1889.

First and always and nothing less.

Next season's championship is shaping up to be the hardest for years, unfortunately

Wait until you discover the Davies & Tonge too Derby thread you'll have a field day. 😉

Wilder has pleaded with our idiot owner not to sell Arblaster. If he sells him what do they expect fans to pay to watch. We want to watch footballers who can play football. Not a load of freebies no other clubs want. SUFC has bought him foreign clubs ....as he pretended he was skint before he bought them. When he won the court case he was only worth £60 Million. He's now worth £280 Million. Owning us for the last 5 years has made him much wealthier & the owner of multi clubs. He should be very grateful to us.

F**k me give me your specs .... Deluded or what!
You clearly don’t watch any championship football then. How many time last season did a sub standard United team come away with a win.

Look at the goals West Brom gifted to Wednesday yesterday. Just because I don’t expect back to back relegations I’m deluded 👍🏻. I’d love to sit near you at a game, bet you’re a barrel of laughs

As I said, I don’t expect us to romp it, I’d be surprised if we’re in the play offs. I’m just not expecting us to go down again, hence why I named 6/7 teams I consider worse than us

If the good news is about things off the field then I'm not interested. All I care about is who we get rid of, who we resign (sadly it's probably going to be McBurnie), I will lose my shit if he gives another year to Oli Deadwood and Basham (as good as he's been, he was past his best last season), or Max Lowe. I might make an exception for Egan even though I'm not his biggest fan, and I think Baldock deserves to go elsewhere to help his international career.

We will have a limited budget next season and we can't waste a penny on sentiment and "characters" for the dressing room/training ground.

I want to hear that Anel and Souza are leaving. I want to know that we have some kind of recruitment plan in place and good scouting. I want to hear that Wilder is going to drop his precious formation and tactic(s), and will be coming up with something new.

Other than selling the club I couldn't care less about a new academy, hotel, land etc as they're taking funds away from the football team.
