Considering it was L1 level, I'm struggling to think of any striker that carried less of a goalscoring threat than Porter (unless Utd were awarded a penalty!).

Good try but no prize I'm afraid due to him playing like a prime (Brazilian) Ronaldo on one occasion (Peterborough away).

I can't ever recall Porter looking remotely dangerous.

Michael Higdon was infinitely worse

Higdon looked half decent on his debut, thought he looked promising.

Little did I realise that his debut was the best he would ever play for us. We used to joke and wonder if he had a twin brother and had done a body swap.

Higdon looked so far away from being a pro footballer it made no sense. He seemed overweight and unfit too.

Regards Porter he was shit but deserved some respect from me because he had a good attitude and was a trier. Also he did occasionally score goals.

Looking back at that equaliser he scored against Oldham in 2014, he wasn't popular as he moved to Scotland on a free transfer previously and upset the Oldham faithful. Those were the days when we used to take more than half of the attendance there!
