I live in Shrewsbury and after last weeks draw against Stevenage I have been subjected to a week of celebrations here following my home town teams promotion to div 1.
I sincerely hope I will not be seeing the blades down here next season.
As an aside I heard Elizabethan Serenade by Percy Grainger accompanying a Tesco advert the other evening. This was the tune the Blades used to come out to in the late fifties.Anyone else remember?

Imagine how I felt going home to street parties in Wolverhampton after our no show at the Play Off final in Cardiff. :(

My 'other' team, Windsor & Eton, went out of business and revived as Windsor FC in the Combined Counties League this season. One up, no play offs... shaky mid season dip and we have finished second with 96pts, one point behind the champions Guildford City. I'm still confident about Saturday though, just hope I can keep tabs on the scores whilst travelling!

As for Elizabethan Serenade what a revelation. I was born to it in 1958. Now I have another attachment to it. Spooky. Thanks for that.

Imagine how it might feel in Sheffield tomorrow night, its either going to be the best or worst day in a long long time

It's exactly those sorts of times TD that being an exile has it's advantages
