A few of our younger signings are getting a lot of criticism but it's worth noting that they didn't sign or pick themselves and they're all here with an eye to the future. Sure, they've not been very good but neither has anyone really. It's not easy to move up a league or suddenly be thrown into a situation where the team in general doesn't have any confidence.

Ampadu is a bit of a disappointment- as it was a ‘premium loan’. This should have been one we looked for a hendo like impact! Why didn’t we go for Gallagher from Chelsea - I’ll never know. But as you say he’s still learning
