I see by the time of your post Torrix you didn't go. Nuff said.
I quite often post on here from my phone, so timing of posts doesn't mean a thing.

They were already in the Prem that year weren't they?
They mullered us by four a couple of years prior. That was when people were writing Jags off as too lightwieght. Ha!

I think it would be safe to say that less than 1% of the users on here post from a mobile device though. You are in a minority.
Why would it be safe to say that? There's loads of gadgethounds on here. I think it's safe to say plenty more than 1% of all users (which would be only 13 people) post using their phone.
According to the front page this forum has over 1900 users so my less than 1% estimate is spot on.
How is it 'spot on'? You have no idea how many people post using their phone, and i would still say that more than 19 people post using a mobile of some description.
Fair enough. I wouldn't though. In my experience very few people even have a mobile device that would enable them to access a website on the go.
Just to put the mobile debate to bed with something a little more analytical...
In the last month, ~8% of all visits have been via a confirmed mobile device. There will be slightly more, which just get tracked as an "unknown OS".
I'm often posting on here from the match, but more likely to be updating twitter for those who aren't there.

I noticed you sneak that in Fritter!
The tide is turning
Seriously, and without going over old ground yet again, surely even Monty's biggest admirers must concede that it's time to explore other options?
What say you, Foxy?
Sent from my iPhone.
We need a striker who can hit the net badly.
But you are going over old ground yet again.
As somebody who has argued Monty's merits with you in the past, I would give him a rest at the moment, yes. I think he is the player who was most crucial to our previous style of football but also the player who has found it hardest to adapt to the new style, not least because there isn't a natural place for him in the current midfield set up. What I want to see is a midfield of Britton, Ertl & Wiliamson. Until Willo is fit, I would think about playing Quinny as the attacking midfielder.

If you're only talking about active users (say those who have posted within the last 3 months) then 1% is less than ten users.
Posted from my iPhone![]()
don't even get me started on the jobsian cult :-/.. i've recently 'downgraded' my smartphone.. i simply don't need all this shit and carrying round a half house brick all day.. plus the study looks like NASA mission control as it is.. i dug my old one out.. goes in my 'drug' pocket.. now that is cool
I've just signed up and taken delivery today. It's small, shiny, cleverer than me, and very expensive.![]()
You'll have to do better than that foxy
How many HTTP POST requests have been made from a mobile device?
Make sure you hold it the right way!
Not sure about the new iphones myself. It does look lovely, and the screen is very lush, but i don't think it's very comfortable in the hand.
Yeah, I was going to get the 3GS and save some pennies but the screen on the 4 clinched the deal. Besides, I've fluked a very good discount through a mate so I still feel fairly virtuous.
This is the first smart-phone I've ever bought - they've evolved to the point where they meet so many of my techie needs that it's worth the money. No need to buy a netbook or an i-pad. My laptop and phone now see me fully geeked-up wherever I am.![]()
