blade too long
we go again
thing is , theres only 32 days left of the season6 weeks ago Bolton looked finished and it was between Scunny and Fleetwood. That second place is still up for grabs, just not by us
if theyd got 6 weeks maybe

looking at the remaining fixtures I'd predict finishing points for our rivals will be
Bolton 90
Fleetwood 84
Scunthorpe 80
Bradford 80
Southend 82
Still work to do, but realistically getting very close now
As the great Roy Orbison said, "Its Over".
We're going up. ❤⚔

Do you intend just baiting or are you going to add to any particular debate at some stage?
Anybody think he's actually a pig? Surely a Bolton fan would be a tad more intelligent?

I think it probably is a Wednesday fan.
I will confidently predict that Bolton won't catch us either. We will be Champions.
Really, really hope Bolton's local derbies against Oldham and Bury allow Bradford to rein them in and beat them to 2nd. I know it's unlikely but one has to dream and those cocky hoof merchants have asked for it.
Unfortunately I think Bradford's automatic chances will end when we beat them at the Lane. Hope they win the playoffs though.

I was thinking of this permeation...
Bradford and us both win our next games. Bolton lose against Oldham making us Champions.
We then draw against Bradford (quite likely) whilst Bolton lose against Bury.
This puts Bradford within 3 points as they play AFC at home, who are well safe, whilst Bolton play Port Vale who could be in the last chance saloon.
Each have an equally tricky final day fixture.
None of this even mentions Fleetwood who might still snatch second as well.
I'm all for Bolton bollocksing up automatics, but I'd still much rather they got 2nd and we won the title at home v Bradford, rather than wrap that up at another away game
I know what you mean but we could wrap it up at Port Vale anyway if Bolton then lose against Oldham. The Bradford match would still be a party.![]()
If we win at Port Vale, they've gotta win as well haven't they? Loss/draw not enough for them I think. This should be very simple math but after today I am not confident in it
But aye Bradford, and Chez for that matter, will both still be fantastic regardless. It'd just top it off to actually clinch it at home, on the tele as well![]()
Yes, if we beat Port Vale, we'd be 12 points ahead of Bolton and they'd have 12 points still to play for. They'd have to win every game to have a chance of catching us.
