Did anyone get a good view/see on a stream the tackle on Norrington-Davies in their box second half? I was on the other side of the away stand but it looked absolutely blatant to me.

Corner or a penalty surely, but somehow a goal kick.

First reaction was Pen.

After seeing the reply. Pen.

We have had some very key decisions not go our way this season. Hopefully a few go our way in the next 10 games 👍.

We were right in line with it. I cannot fathom why it wasn't given. The only possible reasons are complete ineptitude or ulterior motives.

In the ref's defence, the TV replays (which were on behind) I saw were much less conclusive. You couldn't actually see the contact. He'd have had a similar view. Lino's on the wrong side as well.

They replayed it about 4/5 times on SUTV and it was definitely a penalty on every one

We were garbage & only moment of the game was a penalty shout. I’m not beat up about it not been given as we deserved what we got

As poor as we were, refs have just cost us at least 3 points in the last two away games if not 5 given the timing.

Despite the below par performances we’ve had the rough end of decisions in the last 2 away games. A penalty yesterday & Norwoods disallowed goal at Blackpool would have seen us 4 points better off. 2 atrocious decisions for me

Sorry to be pedantic, but it would be 3 points better off.

The thing is, though, you could add Huddersfield’s disallowed goal and another one that went our way (which I’ve forgotten) to even it out.

Fed up of saying this but at worst it was a penalty. The player was offside and even though reason for disallowed is debateable (Sky said the ref said it was a foul), it should have been disallowed.

Which ever way you look at it watch the ball. Its not even touched. RND was brought down without anyone touching the ball. So the ref should have booked RND for a dive if it wasnt a penalty.

Its total inept refereeing. No linesman because he is stuck on the half way line. Linesman on this side of the pitch would give that as a penalty. We were bad but it could have changed the game if we scored. If we miss out by 1 point for the play offs you will know where it was robbed from.

..but the referee was not stood with you, he was behind the players so could not get a clear enough view to award a penalty.

Should have just guessed like the ref at Bournemouth when he somehow gave this as a pen after that foul by Enda.

One of the worst decisions I have ever witnessed.

And the second was offside.

Those twats should have been. 3 nearer to us and they'd be shitting the bed right bow, especially if the pen Stoke should have had against them had been given.

2 decisions in their favour. 3 against us. Could have been a 12 point turnaround. That's how significant shit, possibly southern biased officiating can impact a season.

Absolute stone wall pen never gets near the ball , but linesman is on the other side & the ref attended the same ineptitude at its best course that several have this season . The refereeing standards have been shocking ( and that’s nothing to do with results ) .

I'd say at best it was a penalty and possibly a red card as well (he wasn't trying to play the ball). Which would have probably been worse than a goal, so the point stands.

It had not been a sending off offence since the 2016-17 season. The decision therefore is (a bit like the one on RND on Saturday) whether the referee in his opinion felt that a foul had been committed. It would have been a booking and penalty. But, as I said, having not given the decision, the one to deny the goal was 100% correct.

I was directly behind the goal and it looked a clear penalty to me. A draw would have been a fair result as they looked as lost as we did out there.
