Yeovil TV and dirty barstards

Poor decisions by the officials the elbow on Robson was a penalty and straight red card as the ball was nowhere near at the time of contact, as blatant as you will ever see of a man being taken out. Rather than the Yeovil player getting a 3 match ban he has got away with it yet we lose Robson for the rest of the important play off games which don't seem very fair. To compound this he then gets away with the lunge on Westlake studs showing which was way late and an ankle breaker in the making. So 2 incidents where he could have seen straight red cards or at least yellow for each ........... a lucky lucky man to be available for the return leg.
The two Yeovil penalty claims if given would have been very harsh, after giving nothing for the McDonald drag down and the elbow he was never going to consider the two ball to arm claims. Overall the right result but a poor game can Yeovil put as much effort and chasing in again in a few days on a larger pitch I doubt it. Two bits of quality where Murphy go behind them to set up the goal and again when McFadzean got behind them and brought a good stop from their keeper. Lets hope we can repeat that on a longer pitch at Huish Park when they have to chase the game.

the mcfadz one was more of a pen than maguires. maguires never in a million years.

Only saw them in real time last night, but in Maguire's case, the ball hit his leg and bounced against his arm. I cannot for the life of me see how that could possibly be a penalty. Ball to hand surely?

Pen
Pen and sending off - dirty little b'tard
Yellow - rash challenge but not a red
No pen - but seen them given b4
Pen - he controlled the ball and gained an advantage. Lucky to get away with it

Dear Don Goodman,

A player can "make himself big" if he takes a course of growth hormones, stands on a step ladder, or eats a lot of very unhealthy food and doesn't exercise properly, like Wayne Rooney most summers.

The only way a player can suddenly "make himself big" is if he's a fucking wizard, which last time I looked were as real as dragons, pixies, soap in Barnsley and cats who aren't big nesh fannies when the hoover comes out.

You can't "make yourself big" instantly. It's called "sticking your elbows out" or "getting in the way". I thought Andy Townsend was a candidate for Shittest Co-commentator but Don Goodman runs him a close second.

Mind you, in a Division Three play-off match you'll get Division Three analysis, with the emphasis on the anal.

Don Goodman was watching a different game last night and I usually don't mind his co commentary but he talked shit from start to finish. Every nasty foul by Yeovil he tried to defend them somehow.

Thought Harry was a liability tonight tho.

You can't be serious, I thought that he was superb. Won every ball that came anywhere near him in the air and, whilst he nearly got caught out at the end, he didn't panic and won the ball back clearly. This is based on being at the match rather than watching it on TV, so would be interested to hear if it came across differently on the box.

Re the Robson elbow, we were sat in the middle of the John Street stand and it was obvious what had happened. lino was well placed, so why didn't he flag?!!

thought it was interesting that brynn law gave jhonson"the nod " indicating to tge yeovil manager that they shoukd indeed have had a penalty , does brynn not like us or summat ?
