Thats sad, I have seen that yellow seat in previous seasons , just thought they had run out of red ones .

Great lad, passed away around five years ago, they made his seat yellow for the rest of the season didn't they? Lived at North anston, known as yellowman, big lad and a big blade.

Morning all.

His name was Dave Middleton from North Anston.

He did something quite special circa 17/18 years ago IMHO. He formed, and managed, a Sunday League boys football team called Brampton Dynamos that played in the under 11's Sheffield League, that was made up of a few lads from the Dinnington, Anston, Harthill, Laughton areas.

These were generally lads that loved football, that weren't good enough to get in any other local Sunday League teams - and the team played for 3 to 4 years together.

My son Josh played in the team and I became the team photographer !!

Great memories instigated by a great 'Yellow' Blade.
