After reading an update in yesterday's Sun on Sunday and now on another media outlet I'm suprised on one else has posted about it, yes were all getting weary with the takeover, but could it be that it is now close to completion with the name of the front man being published ?

So last week (05/07/24) we were told information would be released this week about the so called takeover. It is Friday afternoon and nothing.

What a surprise.

What a shambles of a Board that it cares so much about its customers that it says nothing.

It wouldn't surprise me if we went into administration with this shower of **** running the show. You don't know what is the truth and what is fiction.

The irony is that a well run club like Man United have written to all their fans (season ticket holders I assume) and spelt out what is happening and what they intend to do to make them competitive going forward.......................we can only dream of comms like that!

Yeah, I mean I am not trying to be over unreasonable but the club could have/should give some sort of update. It could say bugger all but at least it would show they cared. If there's been a hold up, say so not all fans are dumb and stupid but they dont have to break confidences either.

I'm genuinely not one of these people who reckon they've heard this or that through a journalist or through the grapevine- Simply, I know a few lovely people who tell you stuff through frustration. Everything I hear though, is incredibly negative about the current owner. They love the club, i love the club, and you love the club- they all genuinely feel the club is being massively shafted by the current owner. Sorry if this sounds like bulls't

Difficult to do that if you don’t know who will own the club by the start of the season.

Man united are a PLC and on stock market which means they have more responsibility to communicate with outside factors like fans etc as they need to make sure their share price stays strong.

We the fans aren't important in the grand scheme of things within the sale of our club and we just have to hope that new owners maybe want to engage more with fans as part of their plan for the business.

As could be the new takeover consortium, which is why it has be kept conferential until it is fully done and dusted.
