I mean, it's only football, yes it's not ideal, but what will be will be, maybe I'm just getting old and priorities change

The buyers main priority at this stage is not going to be how we do against Preston. They aren't going to wait around and it's probably best for everyone that the takeover happens before we start kicking balls around again! Start losing games and suddenly they see us at the foot of the table, they are reconsidering the value and the whole thing goes off the table.

We all (I think) recognise that the Prince is not a financially suitable owner. Not his fault, just a fact. So for the future of our club, we need to get bought by someone. Let's just let it happen, if its not done soon, the start of the season might not be pretty but would you rather another season of worrying about embargoes, whether we are paying suppliers and getting players on loan like luke Thomas.

Someone with a bit more vintage than me wrote the other day that you used to get no news as a fan. There weren't printed rumours or people in the know like now. You used to just find out that someone had been bought or sold and I would suggest ignoring all news and just wait for th club to announce something

I for one am just excited to see what team we put out today. Yes it's going to be a shock but interested in what wilders plan will look like. What formation, how we play, what kids we have playing and how they get on! There's enough to look forward to, focus on that

Sadly the club has had it and we have aided them by our acceptance. It’s a complete shambles from top to bottom. Seems they now want us to pay for any news by buying a match pass to witness a training session and they ignore emails to them but pester us with rubbish

With new kit anall....................SUFC #shambles................and even Peterboro had a week in Spain with their players.

It will all come out in wesh near the end of August,with no takeover completed and several "star" players sold to balance the books 😆

And the club running around picking up free/loan transfer scraps before the 2nd Sept.

Given that the new owners are buying Sheffield United we can safely assume that are looking to buy into English football on the cheap.
If, as we have heard, they have been approved by the EFL they are going to be playing chicken with the Prince, looking for the time he feels pressured into accepting lowest possible price.
Now isn't then. My guess is some point between the start of the season and the end of the transfer window. Might even be after.

To address the naysayers and the critics who frankly aren't fit to wear the shirt, I'll ALWAYS be a Blade. Those who just moan and complain shouldn't be at BDTBL IMO. I am proud to say that I used to work there when we were in L1 and it pains me to say that we used to have a better team and did better then. I took some serious stick last summer but I stood my ground, almost got into a few fights along the way. I don't care. Nobody disses my team. We've made some bad choices and mistakes it's true but true Blades stick around. Fair weather fans **** me off. C'MON CHRIS. In Chris Wilder We Trust. Always! ❤️⚔️

I still CANNOT see what any sensible person can see as a positive in this 'purchase'.
Two unknowns - no indication of any wealth other than other peoples with a fiduciary imperative of producing a return for the FUND not #sufc.
They could both be Wednesdayites FFS.
We've already had one shyster American.

I was quite happy with Saudi49er till he interferred not with managers budget (his job) but with manager spending within the budget. (Managers job)
That resulted in the disastrous start with no left back for one.
As for bringing Wilder back.
I just cannot see how people could be so ignorant of his record and actions.
I'm quite happy with free transfers (we've let several good go) and top loanees thanks and no takeover. Just don't let Wilder give away the future as he did last time.
 
After reading an update in yesterday's Sun on Sunday and now on another media outlet I'm suprised on one else has posted about it, yes were all getting weary with the takeover, but could it be that it is now close to completion with the name of the front man being published ?
