Surprised he found a club that would take him.

Ive seen him and he is dire.

Makes legs of wood look decent.

Just take a look at his record.

What have you done to judge?

Please tell us at what level you have played in the the game to say he is dire??

You are better no doubt?

Well having seen him play on many occasions i only recall one decent game and that was when he played in the cup against Villa.

Yes i am better and probably most on this forum are better than him these days. :D

Come to forum footy then and we will see!

I don't suppose you will ever take up on this which will prove my point.

Come on prove me wrong!

We will all see now!

:)

Come on.....they all know what i'm capable of.

Can't you prove what you say?

Good luck wrighty, hes not at all a bad Player just never reached his full potential with us. was a quality player in my eyes and i dont care if anyone disagrees with me :)

I take it you must rate him highly as a player then ?

Jesus he just happens to be one of the handful of crap players we have had at our club that are clearly past there best.

No going to bother to get into a argument just posting my opinions on player that i thought was good and never acheived his full potential while he was with us

He never was going to fill his potential coz he no longer had any when he joined us.

your opinions

and what makes you think that? every player has the potential to good at a club be they in their 30's Wright when joined us he or late 30's eg:Mcall

He never was going to fill his potential coz he no longer had any when he joined us.

The dictionary defines potential as
capable of being or becoming
So with that in view, your above statement is incorrect.

Alan Wright we all know has had a good career, and whilst I never enjoyed seeing him in a United shirt due to shocking performances that he gave us, he was still good for other clubs, namely Villa where he is a legend.

He never had any potential when he signed as he was clearly past it.

He is Alan Shite. :D

Anyway good luck to him at Oldham he will need it.

Oh sorry i take it all back he was amazing must of been watching someone else instead. :)

Pedders was the one who said he never filled his potential.

Im just saying that he wasnt good enough and passed it.

As for Shipps he found eating pies helped him score goals. :D

Yeah Wright was pretty crap. He had a good loan spell with us before he signed permanently, then he after that he was never up to it.

Perhaps you should brush up on your definitions of words fella.

Not at all. If, in BM's opinion, he had nothing more to give, and had reached the pinnacle of his career, then he did have no more potential. It's his opinion.
