Would you take Danny Wilson back in a swap for Nigel Clough?

I overheard a couple of people talking about Danny Wilson being a better man manager than Clough so disregarding Barnsley's current league positions and all that, i'm talking about the way the both managers are as managers, the management style, the team selections, the signings and the man management.

So would you take Danny Wilson as a swap?

was this on "Live at the Apollo"?

Just wondering, and agree with above, disappointing sacking of DW.

NO,because it wouldn't move us on in the right direction.I know Cloughy does look to be limited to a certain degree,as proved by his promotion stats, but that doesn't change the fact that he's our manager now.

Patience is well and truly required. How much patience is the question that a lot of blades will ask because if you ask me,we've been in this division for a tad too long now,and it's certainly wearing very thin atm with quite a lot of blades, rightly or wrongly.

While ever Cloughy makes baffling managerial decisions, you're always going to get threads like this one.

No. I like them both but I think Clough is more tactically astute. Danny is better in other respects but he had a much better squad than Clough also.

Wilson's last season was one of the dullest I've witnessed in 40+ years. If that's football, I'm done.

To be fair to him, he got us into the play-off's, and suffered one of the daftest and most annoying board room capitulations in our recent history. But the "style" of football became woeful, right up there with the worst that Blackwell served up.
