Scored a couple for Central Coast Mariners last night. Playing up front with Ross McCormack!

Would you have him here? I personally wouldn't but it's the international break so the time is ripe for stupid questions.

Yes and whilst we're at it can we get Greg Rutherford for goals too?

Shit keeping to be fair, getting beat at the near post like that. But still GLTTL.

On and, no he's a sprinter you tit!

:D

Interesting that it was his strength rather than his pace which created the space for the shot

Until you Google the opposition he was up against...

"Usain Bolt’s journey to become a professional footballer takes its next step, giving fans the opportunity to see the Jamaican sprint king in action against a team of NPL players from Sydney’s South West coached by former Socceroo Nick Carle.

The Macarthur South West United team will be made up of the region’s best NPL players from: Sydney Olympic FC, Sydney United 58 FC, SD Raiders FC & Macarthur Rams FC."

He usually looks an absolute donkey with the ball at his feet whenever I’ve seen him

With our style of play we hardly ever have anyone running in behind so his best asset wouldn’t suit our play style.

So it’s a no from me - might sell a few shirts though.

He’d sell enough shirts to give us a few extra quid for the January window so why not?

...isn't this why we set up the partnership with Central Coast Mariners? If any coach could coach the pace out of Usain Bolt, it's Monty.

Could be useful towards the back end of the season.

After all, it's a marathon, not a sprint.

We are not Dad's Bleedin' Army!
32 FFS!

he purely a commercial deal for revenue & publicity. he's not good enough for our level but hes more conference level for me. id still love him just for opportunity to get a picture, as he was the greatest sprinter in Olympic history, broke barriers that seem impossible. unfortuantly this is 1 barrier he may not achieve as A league is high as he will go

Nick Carle, he was a dirty cunt.

It's a gimmick.

He shouldn't be anywhere a credible pro team.

Joking aside, I would definitely offer a place to Michelle Jenneker.
