If we got new owners and a flashy new stadium like Sunderlands for example, would you be happy leaving BDTBL if we did?

If they got a new stadium then we wouldn't have much choice but I'd be very unhappy.

We got planning permission for a 44,00 seater stadium, so realistically the only reason we'd have to leave is if that size stadium became too small and we couldn't expand.

If they were about to demolish it then yes I would leave the lane , there are so many things I havent done yet with my life

I'd not be happy at all.

But in truth, the only way we'll leave is if we go truly bankrupt, or some oil baron takes us to the top of the Premiership.

I think the time to move has passed. There were small chances over the last 20 years or so but now investment has been made and the atmosphere has developed even more our ground is a great footballing day out. In the past as things were a bit shoddy I would not have objected so much as i would now.

i never wanna leave the lane..

So would I, but got asked this question the other day and wanted other Blades views
I never wanna leave the Lane.
I always feel like staying when at a match, and never do I want a soulless drome like the galpharm as my home.Forget it.:(

I think the Lane, in full voice is still one the proper old school old grounds in English football. It's a modern, vibrant ground that has retained a great atmopshere, why change it?

Why would we ever leave? Home is where the heart is. 32000 blades makes for 70000 corperate/advertised supporters. utb

But surely we could move to where the car park was if we needed more room width ways for stands? McCabe/Laver buys up whats left of Bramall Lane, Shoreham Street. I am sure we could bridge over Bramall Lane - that would be cool a tunnel under the stand - then away fans could board buses out of sight of the masses. By then of couse Wednesday would just need a minibus as Blades Euro domination would have led to their effective demise and relegation to a historic Sunday morning pub team.

zzzzz
