I'd like to think no.

Because of the players he's brought in and the style of play influenced on the youth sacking Clough would be stupid.Let's say if we lose against Scunthorpe next week and we sack him, would Morgan come in as caretaker? What then with 12 games left, that'd only see us drop down the table.

My opinion is that a lot of blades fans got too excited about this auto chasing dream (i've got to admit when we went on that mini run i thought so too) and now we've lost 2 on the bounce, we've all resorted to the good old fashioned gaffer sacking.

The thing what i find hilarious, it seems that people are still living in the 2011/12 season where we major favourites to go up...we need to realise that we're becoming/became a League One regular team.

Some of you are getting pissed off that we lost to 'tinpot' Fleetwood yesterday and believe we have the devine right to turnover clubs like those because we're 'bigger', that's just not the case anymore with modern football.

We should stick by Clough and the players, booing them will only dampen their confidence.

And If/when we get into the play-offs i really do think we'll win it.

The right answer is we don't know mate, i want him to see the season out, that's the least he deserves, let him atleast try and finish the job he started off.

Don't think so, to late this season but board should be doing a Brentford and shopping around

Blade56 , whose to say they are not , and Brentford does spring to mind.

We stick with Clough and Co . Plenty of time when the season finishes for post-mortems , lessons learnt.

My own view is that we will win the playoffs for promotion , but i do not think we would win the playoffs for relegation if they still existed and we were in the shit,

I don't think it'll make a bit of difference, this division is so shit even we'll make the play offs, after that we could put anyone in charge as its a total lottery..

too right wizard we did with wilson and we are still here clough deserves to see it through. it hurts to lose to a team like fleetwood but they are in the same division and have earned the right to play us..if we do miss out this season and there,s no guarantee we will win them(play offs) we now have some good young players coming through and cloughy has brought in some quality experienced players who just might need more time and matches than we have left this season to gel.we are still in my opinion short of at least a dominant centre back and whether we get up or not that is priority. in my opinion clough will get us there.
By the way! reading cloughs history on wikepedia he is a far more feisty character than maybe a lot of us realise and i expect that to come out as the battle continues, bring it on he might surprise a few players as well as us blades.all to play for!!

I don't think at this point in the season it would make much difference. Would give him till the end of the season at least. Have nothing against him but the last few matches have been painful.

Got to remember last season he had nothing to lose, just staying up would have put him in every ones good books after the Weir fiasco.
This season as not been very good, its all been about tactics (don't concede/ keep possession ect.) which as got us in this position of hanging onto the playoffs, it all works to a point but its not thrilling to watch.
I want my football to be thrilling... sorry if my expectations are to high for you

We have invested too heavily into 'cloughs vision' we would have to miss out/ drop out of the play offs for him to get the sack. So unless that happens anyone coming in wouldn't have a higher chance of getting us up than clough currently does.

No but I'd feel better this morning knowing the board weren't taking the 'do nothing' option
