For those that haven't renewed, and aren't planning to, would a change of manager convince you to shell out?

And for those who said they would renew depending on who was brought in, who would convince you to renew?

I'd probably send my season ticket back if we changed the manager again

Yep, of course you would, even if we got di matteo or Hughton in charge?

I don't give a shit for Hughton or Di Matteo, both have done well at clubs that have boards that would back managers with good money to get promoted. I care that this club needs to go back to being stable and the only way any club creates stability is by managers keeping jobs longer than a few months. And do you honestly think Hughton and Di Matteo would touch a club thats had 3 permanent managers and a caretaker in one season? how attractive a prospect would we truly look?

So you'd rather have a past it manager in charge instead of someone who can actually take this club forward. All because of 'stability.'

Great.

What's he done to convince you that he can take the club foward?

I've seen improvement in the way we play, the way some of our players play, how we move with the ball, and how we control it at times, the crosses have vastly improved. We create more chances. Don't get me wrong there is a whole load I want to see improve, like the defending, but that has been a problem all season, not just with Micky. Same with our finishing.

All of those 'improvements' have seen us get a whopping 2 victories since he took over.

I know, but I'm more entertained under Micky than I have been under Blackwell and Speed. Those problems that have lost us games have been there since day one of the season and I also see that alot of other major problems lay above Micky's head, they need changing first otherwise, no matter who you sack, bring in there will be no going forward for a long time.

I have renewed, so that shows that I support the current manager.

I believe once he's cleared the players that need clearing out, he'll prove himself to be a decent manager at div 3 level.

PS. I know you only gave Hughton and Di Matteo as examples, but anyone who believes we can attract managers of that calibre in div 3 without a pot to piss in, are deluded imho.

Realistically, the managers we can attract, are those we attracted at the last set of interviews we carried out and I certainly don't see the point in repeating that.

I don't want a manager who's decent at third tier level. Appoint one of those and that's exactly the level of football you'll get.

And so it comes to pass.

If you are not renewing because you don't like the manager you are not a fan. I don't support Adams....or McCabe....I support the Blades. Some people on here ought to go & support the f'kin Pigs. In fact 1 or 2 do. UTB FTO

No

Only a change of owner, some leadership/direction and a lower price for a season ticket would change my mind.

I'm not a season ticket holder at the moment, but I do intend to be one next season. My decision doesn't hinge on who is in charge, despite the fact that I hate the thought of Micky Adams in charge next season. He has been an absolute disaster for Sheffield United Football Club. I am, however, a proud Blade, despite the tosspot supposedly managing the team.

Until McCabe and his shower leave then I'm not even watching them on the box.

just see what brighton have done..Gus Poyet, what a great job! Micky Adams???God help us, load of rubbish..i am surrounded by saints, Reading and Brighton fans...happy days!!!

Every post in the world pales into insignificance compared to this one.

I have already renewed, i don't particularly care who the manager is i SUPPORT Sheffield United Football Club, the badge, the red and white striped shirt always have always will irrespective of who owns picks or plays for the team.

Living so far away, a season ticket is obviously out of the question BUT, were I living in the U.K. I would not buy a season ticket until the club become more open and honest with the fans AND until McCabe the master builder has relinquished all connections to the Blades.
