How come he never gets a game with our reserves , but can get one with liverpools reserves ? .

Because he's their player not ours. He's with us to help us achieve promotion.
They would have a bigger interest in his development whereas ours should be in looking after our own fringe/young players when it comes to under 23 games.

From the little we've seen of him, I just think he's not 100% committed. He can't switch off in our team and looks like he does

I don't think he's quite the Diego type or Hammond double. Sure ALL wanted him to succeed but some have a childish attitude when players are struggling.

Woodburn just hasn't been able to replace Brooks, I don't know if it's down to his attitude or if Brooks was just a better player or just fitted better into the first team.

Too many people want to write off young players when they’ve not had a big chance or they haven’t been able to shine
It’s squad game and it would really enhance our reputation if he returned to his parent club in the summer having had a good season.
Of course if it does work out I hope it’s not because we didn’t give him a chance but because he wasn’t good enough

Looks like he will be off back to Liverpool in January, it’s iust not worked out, it happens. Hope he goes back and kicks on and it’s not a case of “what could have been” in a few years.

The situation is unchanged from a month ago. When everyone’s fit, he’s not in the squad. If we have an injury/suspension or two, he’s back in the matchday squad. Everyone is fit, therefore hardly a surprise he’s not involved today. He will very likely have his loan terminated in January. Till then, there is a month left, and odds are he will be in the matchday squad again between then and now.

Youth loan. Same as we’ve done with Sam Graham who’s on loan at Oldham but played for our u23s last week.
He won’t be on the bench Tuesday if he’s played for them this Sunday. The loans ending and he basically won’t be available for us. That’s my take on it. Surely they must have asked Wilder if he’d be playing on Tuesday.
