I actually despise Wolves and indeed most other midlands clubs (Villa being the exception).
They can fuck off and die quite frankly.

They're splashing the cash but they lost a very good manager recently due to the clubs transfer policy so presumably the owner or an agent is choosing the players they sign.

Regardless of how much money is spent, that's not an ideal situation.

wolves try and compete with Villa who blew 72 million quid last season
its a bit daft putting 15m in one player at this level

Was chatting with a good friend of mine this morning, who happens to be a Villa fan, and as this thread seems to be about players being signed by other teams with no relevance what so ever to our Blades..

He is disappointed at the signing of Terry as it smacked of a final pay day between mates.

And pleased as it might add the steel that will allow the midfield to push up the field a bit.

The life of a football fan eh?

(we decided the best thing would be to get pist in Brum before and after the match)

Always had a lot of time for Villa. A potentially huge club that's punched below its weight for too long.
It was the first away fixture I looked for in June. Wish they hadn't tainted themselves by signing Terry though.

Mendez a good friend of Wolvescoach Santo and the director of wolves owners. Mendez procentage of the transfer is BIG, Porto have to sell to avoid fair play regulations, and Mendez pulls all the strings. Jorge Mendez playing Portuball again, and watch him cash in more when Ruben Neves is sold on in january. It's sad how these agents can go about, Mendez is deeply involved in Porto, Wolves and the player, but this will off course be denied by all parts. Agentpower is killing the game.

I do, cost us a little less though.
It's all relative though. 15m when you have 100m to spend counts for nowt. Wonder how he enjoys a nice January day out in Burton. Wonder how the dressing room will be with him around and I wonder how the team will bond.

Spunking money around is just that. Let's see when the action starts who the runners and riders are.

Fair enough, but if you are the captain of Porto at just 18 in the Champions league you clearly are a special talent.

Because we are Blades fans and we love to tug our forelocks at our superiors (everybody). All other clubs are fantastic and their players are far better than ours.

They'll batter us.
Hardly a single post here speaks warmly of Wolves, but it doesn't stop you turning it into an attack on your fellow Blades. Never let the facts get in the way of a good prejudice.

Yes and they might walk the league but we've only just arrived and our job is to do the best with what we have both existing and in budget. £15m on some Portuguese superstar who might actually be better at home in the Premiership on 100k per week than getting seven bells hacked out of him in the championship, makes me go meh. Splashing big money just means if they don't hit the ground running they will be looking for a new manager come October, then another just after Christmas. It has basket case writ large all over it.

That's what Pinchy does.

Pinchy syndrome is seeing something that's not posted to fuel your own agenda. He's a special case this lad.
