Just signed some wonder kid from Porto for £15m. Their odds have tumbled big time, do they have Liverpool type investment?

If he's such a wonder kid why's he not stayed at Porto or gone to Prem or La Liga?

Dunno, but reading about him suggests he's a million miles better than Championship level. Captained Porto in the Champions league at 18 years old!!

Aren't Wolves owned by a bunch of Chinese people who no nowt about football, have pots of money and have brought in a dodgy agent to advise them.

Me thinks said agent might be a much richer agent after today

I think the agent could be bringing wolves into the dirty world of third party ownership. These signings are for the shop window if all else fails

Crikey, did someone convince him that Wolves are in the Premier League?

If you're talking about Jorge Mendes, he's not just some 'dodgy agent', he's a very wealthy and powerful agent. His clients include Cristiano Ronaldo, Di Maria, De Gea, Rodriguez, Pepe... the list goes on. He's already incredibly wealthy; this deal with be pocket change to him. Having him involved allows Wolves access to a pool of the best talent in Europe. Granted, they can't get the ready-made stars while they're in the Championship, but with Mendes' influence they can attract a much higher calibre of player.

And they've signed yet another centre back. EEL will be lucky to get a game with the under 12s at this rate.

I hate football these days. It's a stinking pile of shite

Do we still have FFP in the Championship. It sounds like like Wolves need a good does of it

I bet he can't wait to get aquantited to the lovely city of Wolverhampton. That's where the glamour is.

He won't be staying there, he'll be staying in Tamworth in a fuckin dirty semi.

I can't really imagine his tour of the town. Maybe there's one really good tapas bar they can all hang out at. In the rain.
I know Manchester has some nice bits of Cheshire that players can live in so they don't have to actually live in Manchester but does the Black Country have a good bit? (Not meaning to be too condescending as I genuinely don't know but Sheffield has some really nice bits that you wouldn't think we did)

The year is 2030.

Jesus Christis Expensivo joins Burton Albion from Barcelona, becoming the Championship's first £100 million player.

Burton's Chinese gambling tycoon owner Hao Hai Ace says the in-demand young Spanish international has a place in the second tier of English football.

FFS the OP didn't even atempt to dress it up, this has fuck all to do with us.

Still not convinced Wolves will do well. They're too disjointed and are lacking stability and identity. That said, they will go up before too long, ultimately. There's too much money there for them not to.

We should consider some of their other players who may now be available.

The kid's absolute class. Says a lot that he's not interested in playing in a Premiership club's reserves. Wolves are still a team I feel which will lack consistency, but he could drag them up.

Ruben Neves is a real talent, based on my limited knowledge anyway. Absolutely no idea how Wolves pulled this off.
isn't jorge mendes his agent, probably gave a good impression/word about wolves to neves to convince him

Tettenhall is a nice area to live in Wolverhampton.
