Looks like the premier league are in talks about moving our game next Saturday.

Yeah, not enough that we've had saturation coverage for days we've now got to move our 3 pm ko. Knowing Sky we will be kicking off at 11 pm Sunday night.
I assume it's because of the funeral?

Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Premier League clash with Sheffield United next weekend is set to be rescheduled.

Wolves host the Blades at Molineux in a Saturday 3pm kick-off which is due to be broadcast on Sky Sports.

However, the Premier League are in discussions with the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport over rescheduling it to avoid clashing with the funeral of Prince Philip.

Thank fuck for that. I really didn't want to be put in the position of having to pick between the 2.

A slow boring procession to a crowd of around 30 people (which may or may not include a prince who has flown in from abroad) coupled with a realisation and acceptance that a significant milestone in our history has come to an end ...

or ...

Hope they don’t reschedule it to the evening (of the same day, 17th). I want to watch United’s FA Youth Cup game v Bristol City at 7pm - which I hope will be on YouTube or somewhere...

I don't think they will, Sky have an Championship game on tv at that time.

When she kippers it I'm off for 3 months pal. Wall to wall shit at the moment but the British public love a crisis that's fuck all to do with them.

there a difference between a crisis & being respectful

Not meaning to be disrespectful, just pointing out the reaction has been way OTT.The country didn't grind to a halt when the thousands of poor souls died from covid so why should it now.

If we're doing post of the year awards...

Moving our kick off time is respectful?

I'd say that bragging about having special blood and a shallow gene pool whilst scrounging tax payers money is disrespectful.
give me the royal family over any of our politicians in a "president" role

Leave the fixture where it is - wait for first wolves goal to go in and then turn over for funeral - see if can tell difference in atmosphere between them
