the royal family are there ive always said im ambivalent on the royal family im not a huge fan but i also dont hate them. but as i posted above with most watched tv shows in British TV history. its clear that Royal Family are popular in this country

but as youve admitted the alternative is worse. your going to get 1 or the other. so we might as well have the queen or the senior royals than who would take over Kier Starmer, Boris Johnson or worse Jeremy Hunt. at least with the royal family the dont see this position of power to boost their ego. also prince Edward is only person to let the country down in Royal family in the last 10 years. with politicians its a seemingly endless list

There are far more options than democracy or monarchy.

I can name many politicians that I would rather have running the country than the queen. What makes her competent in running a nation? Is she a great economist? A great politician? Has she championed important causes? No, no, no. I would rather have Kevin McCabe run the nation than any of that backwards family. Their values, traditions and experiences are alien to 99% of the country.
