First of all, not here to gloat or anything, but just wanted to give a Wolves perspective on events tonight.

I was sat close to your support and it seemed very subdued right from the start, Impressive turnout for an away game on tv, but didn't really offer any vocal support for the team which I thought was surprising. As for events on the pitch, that was our best performance of this season (and many other seasons) by miles and you were very unlucky to catch us in that mood today. We would have beaten anyone today and you should see the Blades' performance in that context.

I was very impressed with Holmes. I don't know much about him but he covered a lot of ground and looked your most dangerous outlet and was always trying to get forward. Similarly I thought Baldock played well and put in some good challenges. No surprise that they both went off as both put in a proper shift. Your interpassing from midfield and the back was fine and you had a lot more possession in the first half than a lot of teams that we have faced at home. I thought where you struggled was by not getting tight on our three forwards who were able to turn and run at you at will and also by not cutting out the long diagonal balls to the wingbacks which allowed them to get dangerous crosses in. Also there seemed to be a lack of penetration up front - I didn't see Wilson touch the ball and Clarke didn't really bring your midfield into the game.

One other comment, no yellow cards for either side and it was good to see you trying to play football. A lot of teams have set out to just kick us this season and Wilder can take credit for setting you out to play in a hard, but fair way. Game over, just move on. I saw a couple of comments from other posters who said keep doing what you are doing and just tweak it a little. Spot on I would say. This league is a marathon and you are still very much in it. Think a lot of us realise that you're a mid table at worst Premier League team at the moment, and apart from the third being a bit annoying for our substitute GK, the other two goals were fantastic.

As we caught you with your tails up, you've caught us in a bit of a goal drought/crisis up front and after a mostly undeserved loss to Villa. Was never going to go our way, think the thought of you made us all a bit quiet today, I normally go into every game thinking we can win, today a point would have been a big result.

We've got players in like Holmes as you said and I think we can kick on if we don't get down about today. Thought we had a couple of good chances against you, and didn't get absolutely embarrassed, could have been a lot worse.

Definitely a few tweaks to be made I'm sure, at the very least you've shown up some things that aren't working.

Good luck in the Premier League next season. Might see you there with a bit of luck.

I think we're just struggling to adjust to the reality of life in the Championship. Coming to terms with the fact that despite our unbelievable start, we aren't good enough for the top 6.

We have probably spent more seasons than anyone in the top half of the Championship over the last 25 years and in my experience of the playoffs, every season there is one team that gets there on the back of putting a late run together from mid February onwards. No reason why you can't do that. Bristol City are flagging now, Preston have sold their only striker and you have only got Boro over your shoulder to worry about.

For a Man U grad his first touch is awful and he plays for himself, only. There are players in the squad far more deserving of a start. In away games I'd always give Donaldson a start. Like I said, the away support was there in numbers but seemed subdued right from the start. Wolves were very loud today partly because the late kick off meant that many were bevvied up beforehand and also because having Afobe back was a great lift. Clarke is good at flicking the ball on but needs someone to run on to what he lays off. Donaldson seems much better suited to that although it was too late for him when he got on today.

As for Diogo Jota - he's just stupid! Far too good for this level. Good luck next season - not that you'll need it. You'll be top 10 in the Prem easy. Beat all our rivals for us in the run in yeah.

Whether its playing balls on the deck or getting crosses in.
Nobody skillful enough to be intricate in beating defenders in their area (Brooks excepted? ).

You are clearly ready for the next level and have the right backing.

Sometimes you have to just sit back and say “fair play”. When you concede you’re normally quite angry. My immediate reaction to the opener was “great goal”. But there’s also the rub. Wonderful strike - Inside of the post and in. Mid-week for us - wonderful header - underside of bar and out.

You’ve had an up and down time and as a similar sized club, must be exciting to look forward to ruffling some feathers.

I too think they are the best second tier side I've ever seen. Keegan's City side had no tactical nouse - they just tore into sides. Whereas Wolves have a proper manager who has a team defending as well as they attacked. Their shape was never lost and we couldn't lay a glove on them.

I'd not want us to change our philosophy, but the only way to take Wolves on is to park the bus and break. We boxed like Hatton vs Mayweather. No disgrace, but we were outclassed.

Very good - one of the best visitor posts I can remember. I suppose in some respects it may be easier to be so decent about things when your side looked like Wolves did last night .
You were mightily impressive though. Pace, power, skill, teamwork, threat - all there for everyone to see. Like others have said, on that performance you’re a mid-Table Prem team playing in the wrong league with your assembled talent & wealth.

Easy to be magnanimous when your team have just won, saw none of this when we beat you at our ground. On that day we outplayed you and would have won no matter if you had 12 of 10 men on the pitch. The difference now is that we have had our most influential midfielder crocked for the season, and our manager seems to have lost it. Sharp and Donaldson dropped for the abject Wilson. I reckon wilder is on commission to play him (not really but you get my drift). Also how the hell does Duffy get dropped and is not even deemed worthy of a sub appearance? Hes been amazing all season. Its like wilder has football manager game syndrome, when you get new players in and start them all straight away cos you cant wait to see them play..then no matter how crap they are you keep playing em. All wilder needed to do was make sure we had a coutts replacement and then one more midfielder. No need for wilson. Soooo..thats why wolves beat us so handily. And no I wasnt overly impressed with them at all.Expected more from a team who have spent so much. Can someone also explain the financial fair rules to me as well pls
