I know it's not in our hands but Villa won't just not turn up. They need the momentum and energy levels high for the playoffs. I think they may rest a couple but the majority of the first team will start and they're unbeaten in 11 so why not?! Come on Villa.

As for Stoke, wholly beatable especially as they have nothing to play for apart from a contract.

Imagine this weekend if we can do it? The scenes would be 10x outweigh what we saw this weekend just gone and they were some of the best scenes I've had being a Blade!!

Unfortunately, I don't think Villa will be busting a gut, they can't improve their position and will not want the likes of Grealish getting a stupid suspension or anything. I think a tame 'after you' draw will be played out.

You could be right, but Villa have a large squad of decent players, and any who replace those who may be rested, will have plenty to prove. That`s my hope.

Wilder has taken a club on it's knees in League One to the PL in just three seasons. THREE. FUCKING. SEASONS. He has also now achieved promotion from each tier of the football league and saved Northampton from oblivion. Farke has taken a club which has recently flirted with the PL on more than one occasion with much more funding to the PL in two seasons.

How the fuck that outweighs what CW has achieved I will never work out. Oh and nearly all of them wanted him out after last season, the fickle bastards. Fuck sake I have to share a county with these morons.

Anytime I read something from other fans describing our style as “not great football” or “battlers” I completely ignore everything else because they haven’t a clue.

Seems to be a big of snobbery at the top this season with everyone thinking they play the prettiest football. Norwich will be bitter because Chris pulled em up on there tricks.

Belsa and Farke have the ‘mysterious and exotic foreign manager’ trope going for them. I think it was Dyche that said the hard running training methods Conte employed at Chelsea would have been labelled out of date had they been deployed by a “dinosaur” English manager.

You can't argue that Farke has done an excellent job at Norwich. He lost his best players and despite the fact they have a much bigger wage bill than us they haven't lobbed big funds at it like other clubs.

Don't forget that last season was Farke's first in English football and whilst they were far from great it shows that a little patience can go a long way. I don't think any of us would have been surprised if he had been fired at the end of last season so fair play to Norwich for sticking with him.

Their fans will think Farke is the better manager, ours will think Wilder. To say Wilder wouldn't do anything elsewhere though when he's had great success at every club he's been at is ridiculous though. The "hard working, tough, physical side" is just pure ignorance and lazy stereotyping because we have a no nonsense manager, a full British squad and have spent nothing. I can see why people would think we play in a certain way but to have such a little grasp of how your main promotion rival plays just makes it look like you know nothing about the game.

Norwich are by far the most arrogant and condescending of these, hell honestly even the Leeds fans are better. I'm happy to give them (Norwich) credit as they play attractive football but they are unable to respond in kind, either taking sly jabs at us or just showing themselves to be entirely ignorant by repeating the same tired old tropes from the Warnock era.

The absolute gall to mention words like grace and class after their antics (which clearly came from the gaffer) at our place last season is fucking astounding.

Think its quite unlikely we win the title. A number of things against us -

1. The game means absolutely nothing to Villa and they'd probably rather save their players....they suffered quite a few injuries and they won't want to get any needless sendings off.

2. Norwich only need a point

This season I would have done the same but couldn't afford it mainly cos I'd been such a nob the year before. Not to worry let's go up properly as the Champions that we are!

We can't win it, but certainly Norwich could lose it.

We will beat Stoke as it's our only possibility of winning the title - we can be as risky as we want with even the danger of defeat no problem to us except pride.

I think it could be a goal fest -even for Stoke if they want to break out of their continuous 0-0 cycle.

As for Villa - even if they play a slightly weaker team, there are players playing for next seasons contracts and some who may fancy thier chances of getting into the PO 1st eleven. Norwich simply have to not lose, so making sure they draw might work in out favour.

All we can do is win one more game of football, which I expect we will.

It's a long shot, and as has been mentioned, Villa won't be at full strength, Norwich will be up for it (and only need a point).

I think we will beat Stoke, think it will be a decent game, but that it won't be enough.
