A
Agreed !!
Agreed x2, Ched was pony for 2 out of the 3 seasons he was with us, don't forget he was part of the God awful team that got us relegated from the Champ in the first place.
With a rape conviction and the death of his mentor in Gary Speed something appeared to click in his head, the effort and desire to be a pro footballer seemed to be there as did the appreciation of support he'd received from his girlfriend who he'd cheated on and the support from his family and senior figures (and fans) at SUFC.

See this as the banana skin. Evans nailed on to net and we will look shit on TV after going on about how good we are.
I dont get this thinking,Evans nailed on to score , why , hes scored one in the last 9, so matches Done
and Im not certain Done would score

I would be far more worried if old Muckanettles Upanatem Nowt-Fancy [Morgan's little known real name] were "coaching" us rather than them.

Only been appointed by one manager and the first time was solely to save money.

Out of interest, what did you think of Morgan as a player for the blades?

In their last 9 or his last 9? Don't forget he was injured for a while. Think he's only been back in the side for about 4 games. Didn't he score something like 4 in 6 before that?

1/ I don't think our current crop of players will give a second thought to the nonsense surrounding Evans. Try and recall, it took two seasons for Evans to show any significant goal-scoring form, and even then there was a strong suggestion that he'd have left us at the end of that season, so much for allegiance. That old adage about form being temporary rings true, so please try not to worry yourself over this one season wonder. Since then, well Evans focus has been elsewhere, and just because he's managed to find a club who'll sign him it doesn't mean that everything will fall back into place simply because he's remembered as someone who had one outstanding season

2/ We're in good shape, for this division we've got top players, and we have a bench that any other club in Division 1 would love to have. It doesn't mean that there isn't room for improvement, of course there is, but we look strong in most areas and the chemistry between the players is first rate. Let's not get complacent, but let's also not imagine we're not up to the task ahead of us. When opposing fans write that we're the best team they've watched this season then we should take strength from this, instead of having a hissy fit about any other team in Division 1. Let them worry about us for a change. UTB!

Because it would hurt and the footballing gods land back in Manchester sunday morning off their hols.

Good players as they are, I can't see Wilson, Morgan and Evans standing much chance against the Blades....... 3 v 11?

Decent kick it and head it centre-back. Brave as a lion. Committed. Very little football ability but that's more desirable than essential in his position. Had an error in him but overall a good centre-half at sub-premiership levels.

As a manager or coach he's got few if any qualities as he illustrated with his embarrassing attempt to get a draw at mighty Yeovil and his silly expression of his managerial philosophy as "nowt fancy - Like Bassett". Shameful.
