No, should have left Clayton on.Just me who disagreed with this?
Just me who disagreed with this?
Said in the thread in rumour mill about him that seeing his highlights he didnt look like the right player for us. Said he seems to be more of a link up player that comes short, we need someone to run in behind. And I think it showed tonight that Wilson was linking up but not doing much else. Only had 20 mins tho. So not judging him yet. However with loovens being sent off I would have kept Donaldson on another ten minutes to stretch the defenceJust me who disagreed with this?
Hindsight says we didn't look any better after the change
Very very odd sub choice , thought Billy would be a sure thing to replace don , dare I say it but does anyone else think Cw was contempt with the draw ?( for the first time ever ) we were so so slow and predictable going forward and were crying out for something else new
Wilson had one of the few shots on target in the second half.No complaints. Wilson looked really useful & clever. Once he's properly integrated & gets more accustomed to other players' movements (& they get clued up about him), he'll be a hell of an asset IMO.

Sure we will finish in the playoffs with this squad.... thr pigs however
Wow how anti football are their team. They really are a poor footballing outfit anf their pre season predictions of us and their grandeur are even poorer.
12 points behind the pub team![]()
So happy for the 4 points but they build up kills me.
I said in the shoutbox that it was a good move when he came on. Reality was that nothing was really happening up there. However, Donaldson seemed to have more movement than Clarke. Clarke having been marked out of the game (credit to pig CB)Just me who disagreed with this?
Surely Wilson's main attribute is his pace and ability to run in behind and stretch teams? Not often I disagree with Chris Wilder but I felt Sharp was the most appropriate change. At a time when the opposition were happy to sit on the edge of their own penalty box and deny space in behind there were limited opportunities for Wilson to use his pace. Sharps ability to get on the end of balls into the box in the final third should have seen him enter the fray.

Genuinely gutted for Sharp. Probably why I would be a wank manager, no room for sentiment.... just cant believe he wasn't given the chance.
