Completing the 4 league set after 6 rotten years in this god forsaken league - with a Blade as captain, top scorer, and a Blade as manager. Torture over, and one of the proudest moments we're likely to see - touch wood.

Completely anonymous... unless you want to admit it. It doesn't make you a poof - honest :)

And of course, a Desso buying Blade as chairman.

Torture over, and one of the proudest moments we're likely to see - touch wood.

I won't be 'proud' I'll just be glad to stop having the shame of being in this poxy lower league.

Only shed a tear once at a football match and that was against Palace in '97. And I was 9 at the time.

"It doesn't make you a poof", real nice.

And no, something unexpected has to happen for me to tear-up about football. Like a late comeback against rivals kinda thing. Whereas for the majority of this season it's been a slow build up to promotion and therefore if/when it happens it more than likely won't be a shock.

Just curious Danny, what does contribute to being a 'poof'? Would it make any difference if someone were or weren't a 'poof'? I'm lead to believe that there's scientific proof it's not contagious if you touch, a bit like shaking hands with a millionaire, unfortunately your bank balance doesn't suddenly increase.

Yes. I'm too young to remember Darlington, or Leicester. 05/06 was amazing, but this feels so so special. I know this is unnecessary "Bladeybladeness" but if we win the league with Wilder and Sharp as manager and captain, and "We Are The Champions" blares out at the lane after Billy lifts the trophy, I'm pretty certain I'll sob like a baby.

After 56 years of watching United, I'll just be delighted to stay on me perch come April.

Edit: #olderbladealert

1965 just called, wants it's homophobic insult back....

That's what I got told anyway.

No. I wouldn't cry if we won the PL. I cry when friends and family die, or when I do something that upsets those I love. No other reasons.

Think it would depend how much I'd had to drink before the game, if I was smashed I've no doubt I'd shed a tear, much like my Dad did at Wembley after the Greasy Chip Butty song against Hull!

I'm not sure it does.

Homosexuality was not decriminalised until 1967 and the Law against homophobic hatred only came onto the statute books in 2010.

I'm not going anywhere with this, just pointing out some 'none-alternative facts'.

Oh, right, thanks
