Will Woodburn get a medal?

Yeah no doubt, just think getting a medal for finishing 2nd is a bit shite (IMO).

Champions should get trophy/medals as they're are statistical the best team throughout the season. (Again, me knitpicking UTB)

Should we stop giving those silly little medals to the athletes who come 2nd and 3rd in the Olympics as well?

He will .... For the idlest mardy arse of the season award
Where does that come from about Woodburn? I heard nothing but good things about his attitude & commitment. It's become a "thing". I'll be corrected by someone who knows & has a source. But, I think it's very unfair on him. Where does it come from?

I wondered the same earlier in the season. Like you I'm happy to be corrected but it feels like a combination of "young player" + "international" + "from Premier League club" + "didn't work out for us" + "someone once saw him on West Street (heaven forbid!)" = lazy, spoiled, thinks he's too good for us, etc.

Might have committed the ultimate transgression - been seen in a public place 24 hours after a defeat.

I won’t name the source on here BSP but I can assure you it’s reliable , think about it from clubs point of PR view there not going to hang him out to dry otherwise it would hinder future loan ins from the bigger clubs

He could get a Championship promotion medal and a champions league medal and he's literally done bugger all the entire season! And I thought Djimmi Traore was the lucky one!

The reason the football league started to do this is because they give a trophy to the playoff winners, and it was pointed out that if you're going to do that the runners up should get something as they have been the better side.

Funny that, I have heard different.

According to my "source" there was no problem with his attitude or application, it was more an issue of him not being a strong enough personality and coming across a little meek/shy.

I'd single Jake Eastwood out for particular praise. At our level, teams need a Third Keeper constantly with the squad. Including on match days. In case Henderson or Moore slip getting off the coach. Or stub a toe putting their boots on. Third Keeper is an important, but mainly thankless, role. Thanks Jake

Great point, Phil, and one that had never even crossed my mind.
He looked like he was loving it on the pitch at Stoke and on the stage last night.
Also, how up for it were the backroom staff!!
