Doesn't deserve one, surely there is a required amount of games played to get one? If so, who else doesn't get one?

Wright
Eastwood
Woodburn
Moore?? (or is their a rule that means 2nd choice GK automatically get one for apps on the bench)

Don't know what the EFL rules are. In the PL it's a minimum of 5 games for an automatic medal, but clubs can order more if they want.

I'll stand to be corrected. But, I think Wilder has consistently praised the attitude & application of all the players who were on the fringes of first team selection & in his first team squad this season. That would include Bryan & Woodburn. Not being quite good enough for consistent selection just yet is no "crime". They will have played their part in the shared success of this season. Blades one & all....

I'd single Jake Eastwood out for particular praise. At our level, teams need a Third Keeper constantly with the squad. Including on match days. In case Henderson or Moore slip getting off the coach. Or stub a toe putting their boots on. Third Keeper is an important, but mainly thankless, role. Thanks Jake

Programme £3 bloke.
Spotted the Programmes 3 quid man in plain clothes walking into Next at Meadowhall this afternoon. Looked completely lost.

In my mind he spent the rest of the day scouring for items costing 3 quid and then walked round the store booming out the price.

In reality he probably bought some pants and socks and quietly went home....

Disappointed to hear he was wearing plain clothes. I have an image of him wearing his programme selling uniform 24/7!

Why are they getting a medal for 2nd place anyway tbh

If it was first I'd understand, wouldn't be the end of the world

Because being promoted to the top division in England is an achievement.

Yeah no doubt, just think getting a medal for finishing 2nd is a bit shite (IMO).

Champions should get trophy/medals as they're are statistical the best team throughout the season. (Again, me knitpicking UTB)

Listened to a podcast with Bruce Grobbelaar the other week. He said in the 80s at Liverpool if they'd won the league Souness or whoever used to pitch up in the changing room at the end of the season with a box of medals and say 'take one if you think you deserve one'. Fair enough I suppose.

Yes the club should give him a medal. That he didn't play much is down to us as much as him.
(But if were up to me I would give him a kick in the Bollox)
UTB

They were chocolate medals though. :)
