Jos Luhakay's came in in January days before the derby and it raised Wednesday's performance. It looks like Jos' days at Hillsborough could be numbered. What odds Gary Megson being in the away dugout at Bramall Lane on Friday?

I honestly don't know how they could afford to sack him. Surely compensation payments would count towards costs and hence FFP?

They’re absolutely crapping themselves. Listening to them on football heaven, one’s just said he thinks it’ll be double figures!
The one on now sounds like he’s just about to cry. Literally.

LMFAO.

I hope our players smell blood next week and rip them apart from the off. Chris will want a bounce back after losing to Forest. He’ll have them fired up for this one like never before.

I actually think we will win comfortably and I hope it’s by at least five. There’s not many opportunities to something that will be truly historic in a Sheffield Derby, but I think United will have just that chance next Friday.

Fatty, stop it FFS
I'm all for them being in turmoil but not 6 days before they play us, we know how Sheffield Derbies usually turn out in favour of the underdog.

I usually stay very quiet before the Derby match, the only time in my life I have ever felt confident was before the Michael Brown volley game and we even went 1-0 down in that
I can remember that day well, I was in a clients house and it got to a certain time and I said "Anyway I have to go, it's the Sheffield Derby tonight"

They said "Who do you support" so I said United and we're going to murder Wednesday tonight
Normally I wouldn't have said anything because if we'd lost those clients would have been on the phone next day to take the piss. But I was so confident we'd win I let all and sundry know about it.

I have never felt that way about a Sheffield Derby before, or since, and I still don't feel like I did that day about this one.

Sorry, sometimes I just can’t help myself ;)

One of my mates confronted him tonight out side the south stand. just before that video I think. He said Forrestieri was backing Chansiri up and said ask "that manager why players aren't playing"!

Its all going down hill innit.

Lovely stuff!

They're fucked for real this time. They haven't got a prayer on Friday, pigs to the slaughter.

Im Terrifed which is odd because 2nd v 17th i shouldn't be. we can't see to keep a clean sheet. Although they were more solid than derby stoke & wigan but for bad luck would've kept 1 today. Whether thats forest or us not sure

But its the fact that its at home & "can't lose" ive made comparisons to el clascio because Barcelona where at home v big rivals who where in turmoil & manager on the brink. I bet they were worried too. But its fact ive never known 2 sheffield clubs playing each other with such a gulf

They've been saving themselves for Friday,

Yep, something like that.

You can guarantee the bastards will show no trace of the ineptitude that led to results like today's 4-0 home loss.

If they can produce what they did last time with half a team, then they can do the same this time.

They'll give it all the pathetic loser talk in advance to try and soften the blow then when it comes to the game they'll be far more competitive than they think/pretend to think they will be.

I was sat in the away end of the Rust Bucket today to watch with extended family rather than go to the City Ground (two visits in 13 months, eight goals conceded for them, can't be bad!). If they had lost by 6 or 7 it wouldn't have been unrealistic regarding the nature of the game. After the second goal went in they fell apart and threw the towel in, players going through the motions, just not closing down the opposition, allowing them to play it all over the park at will. Norwich looked to stretch the play and they couldn't cope. Their back line couldn't cope with any movement. Dawson in goal to me looks like he's been thrown in too early. His kicking was atrocious and mocked by the travelling fans, his handling was poor. Their game plan is simply to utilise the big lads up front and have Bannan or Reach throw in decent deliveries, and when they do they're effective and could have grabbed a goal in the first half. To state the obvious Reach also hits a hell of a cracking shot. He also goes missing for very, very, long periods. Their manager was anonymous on the touchline and seemed to accept the massacre which I always think is telling whereas Farke was on the touchline throughout. Norwich played it around for the last thirty minutes like it was a training ground exercise.
In summary, they are absymal. I don't look at the bottom of the table much, but they look like a beaten team who could go down. I've never felt more confident going into a derby (but we all know that that usually doesn't mean reality will prevail).

Think you might be dyslexic?

:(

Under any other chairman Jos would be finished, but that confrontation is likely to make him dig his heels in all the more IMO.

Most neutrals looking in would fancy us mullering them on Friday, but it rarely works out like that.

We will need to keep an eye on Reach and Bannan for sure, and if the Fairy plays, and then cons a weak referee we could get done cheaply.

Beyond that personally I don't rate the rest of their squad, but there will be enough professional pride on show to make it competitive, at the very least.

My advice, keep your powder dry lads & lasses. They might be bricking it but overconfidence can lead to an almighty fall.

Trust me, if you'd seen them today, they were shocking. Can't remember the last time I saw a worse performance than that.

I understand where you're coming from but I just hope Blades fans don't get their hopes up too high, not that I'm trying to say that you are.

Let's hope they continue in the same vain for the Derby match but just because they were utter shite today (& most of this season) doesn't mean they still will be in less than a weeks time. Its a Derby so will be a different ball game (pardon the pun) and even though I strongly think CW & AK will be able to get our side up for it more than Jos will for the Pigs they'll still try harder than in their previous matches.

They could very easily sneak a 1-0 if Wilder's "average" side turns up,on the other hand if Wilders manificent side turns up

Form goes out the window in these games seen it many a time, I think we'll nick it 1-0 or 2-1

I did see them today, and they were dire.

The question is, will there be changes before Friday?

Under any other chairman I'd say yes - manager sacked, perhaps another one already lined up (probably an Estonian or Albanian), experienced players brought back etc - but under Chansiri I really can see Wednesday going again with the same manager and players.
