Will we sell out?

🤣 literally 2 rows from the back where I am. Got tickets 20 minutes after they went on sale.

I can't be arsed changing though. I have sat on the bottom tier before and the front of the top so it'll be a new view for me!
Got front row seats on the top tier this time - what they like? Worried they will feel disconnected from the event somehow. Got them within 30 mins from them going on sale and best I could get annoyingly....

I was there for the Burnley game.

My uncle threatened to throw a guy over the edge. My only real take away from those seats 🤣

Fairly sure I was sat nr to there for Hull game. Atmosphere was great. Was lower down for the city game with a worse view.

I've been in literally every section apart from club Wembley, even in the gods it's a decent view, when you're sat there the on field events seem much closer than what you initially envisage.

So the Wembley club tickets aren't counted in our allocation?
No….they aren’t on our ticket….its the neutral seats in Club Wembley….so these appear to be extra tickets.

Looks like we’ve been given an extra allocation…2 blocks of almost 300 seats…..nearly 600
However there’s still about 1.6K unsold from our official allocation…..835 in block 526. We’ve sold about a quarter of block 524 so assume the rest of that will have netting on it…used for segregation…..then they can give Sunderland at least 835 extra seats

But to be honest who knows what going on. We seem to be selling whole blocks…..then a few days later large unsold blocks of seating appear in it.
It’s as though Wembley have some sort of AI going on
….where they are trying to create panic so we’re thinking all the seats are gone….making our fans panic and buy up single seats.

@
But if Man U get a new stadium could be game on!

Agree….i’d love Man U to get the required investment so they can build their proposed 100K stadium.
Mainly because it takes the shine away from Wembley and gives us northerners a better option.
Suspect the FA will insist that Wembley is still used for semis and the final.

If wembley can make more from concerts/boxing ( I dunno if they do) then I think they would be fine with losing the semis now that the stadium has been paid off.

Yeah, that's right. Might be a bit strange having two blocks of Blades fans, not directly next to other blocks of Blades fans, in what is a bit of a neutral area. I know when hospitality companies have been selling those seats, they've marketed them as in a Sheffield United area but guessing their checks might not have been too rigorous? Wouldn't be a huge surprise if there are Sunderland fans in and around there.
The new seats are cheaper than some other level 2 seats - I bought in block 225 on Friday, cost £54/£107. Block 206 is £43/£84 - though 225 is closer to the halfway line

That's really the only credible explaination.

Of course, they could have just put all the seats on sale - but then there would be hundreds of singles that would maybe go unsold. If they can create the impression that it's about to sell out, they will sell more singles.

Or just maybe sales have always gone like this, who knows what blocks got released when for Burnley for example.

Difference is now that all the info is publicly out there due to the detailed ticket map and people make up their own theories.

based off your description though they are equivalently priced to those in the same spot on t'other side of the stadium

True fact Instagram or 4G wasn't even a thing when that fixture happened. Although to some that might sound crazy talk, I think you have a very valid point that the info updating almost in real time has an impact especially when there is momentum behind a forum.

Can I ask what the motivation is for those seemingly spending most of their day monitoring how many tickets are available in each block?

I guess many of us have at least some interest in how sales are going and some will still be looking to buy or swap a ticket but.......
Aye
Perhaps it’s a ‘public service’ to ensure that moaning cunts are happy?

Agreed although they would either have to just have the Championship final their or make sure Man United are playing away otherwise they all finish on the same weekend (Premier League and play offs)
Aye
Although if they re-introduce relegation play offs they’ll be playing @ home

All the seats in the Wembley Club tier have a great view, more expensive but worth it. You can get in/out of the stadium very quickly
very easy access. I sat there against Burnley. vowed never to go again after that disappointment. However, I have changed my mind and am going this time.I am looking forward to it, the way the Blades beat Bristol City, I am confident we can win. Sitting in area 519 this time.

Escalators too!

Looks like we’ll have a great following on Saturday. I’ve told myself so many times that I’d never go back, but here I am — ticket and travel sorted!

For anyone worried about being near the back, I was right up in the gods for the City game and honestly, the view was absolutely fine.

As for whether we’ll sell out — I reckon we will. But even if we don’t, how amazing is it that we’re heading back again in big numbers, despite all the past disappointments at that stadium? Win, lose or draw… we’ll still come back for more!

We’ve already exceeded the amount we took to the Man City FA semi and there’ll be no visible gaps.
If we don’t sell out it will be near enough…with odd seats scattered about…just like what happens for many games at the Lane.

I am going on my own, but I have family members in the same block as me. But not sitting near them. It does not matter if you're on your own.
We are all Blades, so you end up talking with whoever sits next to No problem whatsoever. You can enjoy the game.

Yep. I’m in the same block but 8 rows behind Mrs Jansky & the youngest. Which suits me fine 😁

Not sure about we’ve got some right weirdos in our ranks 😂😂

Them seats are great, if I could hand pick one in the ground I’d pick them, you’ll love them, especially if we do the unthinkable. 🤦‍♂️🤞😁

Just score a goal and make loads of people very happy Blades, we don’t ask for much do we! 😂

That's what happened to me at that very match.

I can assure you its not funny, even less funny if you've got your wife and and eight year old child with you
