I suppose that will depend on a number of things. i.e. if we got 2 or 3 bad injuries, would have to do something.

Also, rather than loan signings there could be a chance of getting any free agents, which could potentially be better than our previous disasters of getting loan signings who aren't any good.

As Russ says, the numbers of trialists appearing suggests we may go for free agents rather than loans! I can see positives in that. Those playing for a contract are probably better than those just here for game time!

The current team clearly isn't good enough so we need to bring at least 2 or 3 decent players in to have any chance of promotion. A good loanee can make all the difference - as we saw with the pigs last season.

You're spot on there. They made some very good signings in January 2012 that improved their starting 11 dramatically where as the normally sees us ending up with less. I'd love to see a couple of signings that would unite and excite the fans.
