I wonder if O'Driscoll will go back there? Sky sports has reported that he has turned down job at Barnsley.

Bit worrying if he did. Think Eddie Howe - Bournemouth.

No doubt if S O'Driscoll goes back to Donny he will have a nice wedge of compensation to spend :( Didn't take long for the Welsh whiner to jump ship, gone quicker than an Italian cruise ship captain.

My next door neighbour has just been made redundant from the offices at Rovers ,she and all the staff at the Keepmoat hated Saunders ,and his signings Diouff and Chimbonda etc. Personally i hired Saunders as a speaker for a gents evening when he was manager of Wrexham and although I found personable and witty his passion for the game and lack of interest would have worried me enormously if he had come to the Lane. I think he will be a massive flop at Wolves and they will go down ,just hope it isnt in place of the grunters.

I wouldnt be surprised if O'Driscoll went back. Hopefully they will get someone shite in and suffer a massive dip in form.....

All the local journalists are saying that O'Driscoll isn't even on the list to replace Saunders. Apparently neither party wants to go back there, so that's a slight relief, although it depends how much of his work there was undone by Saunders. O'Driscoll is usually more focused on the long term rather than an instant impact man.

There aren't too many good, available managers. Hopefully they'll get someone proper shit in!

It won't make a ha'porth of difference. Never mind what the league table says at present - it's an illusion. Neither Tranmere nor Doncaster will last the pace. Let's see where the pair of them are at the end of February.

I think Saunders going is a good thing for us as it will obviously disrupt their season
I dont think SOD will go back, if he did how would he get their hoof merchants to play proper football it would take time. They could get the ginger pig in as their style would not have to change

Doncaster can get any manager in with the squad they have and do well. Managing Doncaster in this division shouldn't be hard. It's back in the championship they'll have a problem

Mystic Torrix has consulted his balls and can see Keith Hill extending his stay in the South Yorkshire region........o_O

Erm, like hello...

The ginger Mourinho is still holding out for a top job

Go get him Donny ;)
Much as I dispise the top hat he could be the right man to get them up. They are a team of hoofers so would fit straight in

heard reports from Rovers fans saying Owen Coyle is in with a shout.

The loss of Saunders in itself would not be detrimental to them in my view.

However, it's January and should he take a couple of players (Cotterill for instance) as managers often do, then it could weaken them sufficiently. The later in January this happens, the better.

Paul Jewell
Smeggers
Alan Irvine

There are a few ex chief grunters that may fancy the job

Owen Coyle would be a good shout for them

Let's hope they take a dip in form and slide down the table - not counting any chickens though - as long as Cotterill remains fit they have a good chance - he is their best player by far.

Are you serious, he was the reason that the Pigs were shite :)
Not if you speak to the wendy fans. That shite still took 4 points off us.
He may have lost the dressing room at the end but with that type of player Smegson could well be their best bet. That said I would much rather him be there than anyone good

Agree with a great many of the posts here. Reckon Donny will tail off anyway (saw em at the Lane and were as bad as us ;) and saw em in the 1st round of FA Cup against my second team BPA and they were equally unimpressive being outplayed for the most part by a semi-pro BSN team), so with a bit of dressing room upheavalit should put a damper on their results overall...well here's hoping at least LOL

Mark Robins is now the 1/5 favourite to take the Donny job

Strange that, I don't think I'd leave Coventry for Donny still I suppose it is a case of how many £££'s are in the envelope at the end of the week. As others have said a ready made team of cloggers for Megscum, I'd be worried if he took the job otherwise it has to disrupt them to some extent.
