He could be one of those that a promoted team; hopefully us, could borrow next season. He absolutely won’t be the main man at wolves , he looks a lot more human at premier league level.Hence loaning him out to us and not recalling him when they was injury ravaged.
It will all depend on Wolves' business. Will they recruit and kick on even further or will they lose some players because they are not able to kick on further.
Neves is courted by a few. Maybe if he leaves he gets closer but you can still imagine a Portuguese player or Spanish player coming in to replace.
Could be like Hendo. Championship loan, Premiership loan then all being well back to the mother ship to compete or be sold off.
Back to United though. I think the challenge we have is that the three beet individuals do not necessarily make the best unit.
You can make a compelling case for Norwood, Berge, Gibbs-White and N'Diaye all to be in the XI.
3-4-2-1 perhaps with N'Diaye and Gibbs-White in support of Billy. But the last time Berge and Norwood were together, against Derby was our only defeat and our worst performance.
Hourihane and Norwood are good in games we dominate the ball, better than Berge I'd say because they are known for their passing and to be fair, their set-pieces. Berge is better where he vns be encouraged to break forward; I'm not certain that is best served in a two, Moe for a flat 3. Perhaps you need those two, Norwood and Hourihane, prepared not to over-commit, to give the right licence to Gibbs-White and N'Diaye to be most effective.
But then you're leaving out your 22m man.
The best you can say is we have some decent options. That's not withstanding I've not mentioned Fleck who has been one of our best players overall during his time with us.
