Lankshear seems quite the bagsman (albeit no real barometer of future success)!

Any youngster in recent years have this kind of goal record for our youth? Seem to recall you saying Ty Smith had a very prolific youth record?

Jordan Hallam scored 24 goals at U18 in 2015/16

And 20 goals at U18 & 12 goals at U23 in 2016/17 - for a 32 goal Academy Season across both ages.

In recent times, at U18, no one has had a record like Jordan. He was a scoring machine. A very good dead ball kicker. Took all the long & wide free kicks & corners as well. No YouTube then. No Social Media clips. No dedicated Twitter handle. No posters on the forum. The CBF loved Jordan. Loved him, man.

Give him at least this season with the 23’s. Wouldn’t surprise me though if he continues his form to see him training with the first team towards the end of the season alongside brunt, brooks, Gordon, lopata and of course jebbison and ndiaye.

Think played a fairly big role in us getting peck from them this summer as well had a word told him how much he was enjoying it here etc. Having a decent reputation with the lads in arsenals youth set up can only be a good thing.

Spence is at Bristol Rovers (On loan from Palace)

Dan Griffiths is at Chippenham town

Hallam is at Scunthorpe
Potts is at York
Smith Is at Hull of course

It seems that our Academy does not perform any worse than others (in our category of course) and goes to show the wisdom of the carrier bag firm is true
Lots of really good players at a young age don’t end up in the higher echelons in terms of a football career

I'm struggling to recall someone having such an impact as a 15 year old.

Yep Hallam was 18 and 19 in his two big goal scoring seasons. Lankshear is 2 years ahead of his trajectory.
