Don't think Yeovil look great but we're not exactly great going forward. I think the 2nd leg will be tight and we'll sneak through to W*m**ey.

no eye dear.

apart from mcfadzean we were pish. they could have had 3 goals if they knew how to stay onside.
i thought madden was sposed to be good, but he got in good positions all night and ballsed them all up.

I'll take 1-0 and think we will be more suited to the away leg :)

I said before hand we'd nick the first leg 1-0 and scrape through to wemberley where brentford will batter us

We would've been promoted if we won more games. Perhaps that's the reason why they're in the play offs like us. ;)

We again played a nervous and dangerous game after we scored. They bossed us in the middle of midfield and we had nothing up front. I thought we should been putting it into the feet of kitson rather than just lumping it, there was no hold up play at all

well im feeling far more confident than I was before the first leg so who knows, good result last night, cmon the blades!

I doubt it but as long as they have a go and if we do go down, we go down fighting, I'll accept it.

We may get a good decision or a big slice of luck but that rarely happens.

Brentford didn't look as good yesterday as they did at the lane and Swindon weren't much better.
Both play off games are very close, gonna be interesting........

All teams look like third division teams, about time they re-named the league title so we stop getting ideas above our station.

Yeovil are going to come out of the gate flying to get that goal back it is going to be a hectic start.

Message to Morgs. They will fly out of the blocks. Do anything to slow the game down. Someone please go down in the first 5 minutes. Good teams play the psychological game. Its not hard. We should have done more of that on friday, there was a late cross by us when it should have gone into the corner.

If we had some pace up front we could fly out of the blocks ourselves, I think we should try for an early goal to really throw the cat among the pigeons! If we went 2 up on aggregate they would push men forward leaving gaps at the back.

What we don't want to do is play for a draw.

Definitely don't agree about that cross, that sort of negativity cost us dearly against Brentford and remember it is only half time. Trying to make it 2-0 is worth the marginally increased risk of an equaliser.

got to do what northamptons just done at cheltenham , go there 1-0 up , soak up the early bombardment then strike around the half hour mark

mcfadzean goal on fri was a big slice of luck no? :D

One goal isn't going to be enough unfortunately.
We'll be lucky to get anything at Yeovil (FFS!)
The first leg showed they are a better team with much more skillful footballers.
Our players seem unable to master basic ball control skills and have very little cohesion as a team to compensate.
We see occasional flashes of individual talent from the likes of McD, McF and Murphy but the rest are pretty awful to be honest.
We are very weak in key areas:

Kitson lumbers around wastefully
Doyle has very little football awareness
Harry is just plain scarey

Be glad to be completely wrong but I see tomorrow being another Portsmouth type result.

All the more reason to have Murphy up front IMHO.

I don't think we'll sit back too far, but as usual we won't be adventurous and will try and take time out of the game whenever possible. But they are dodgy at the back so quick ball up top would be the way to get at them.

Feel sure we'll need to score today to progress. If it goes to ET, we'll lose as I don't think they are fit enough.

I'd go out with a 4-4-2. Two banks of 4, and when we get the ball bang it upfield towards Kitson and Porter and have Flynn, Murphy and McDonald playing off the knock ons and second balls.

It's horses for courses and a high tempo, direct game would be ideal for today

keep it tight at the back and hopefully nick a goal on the break, can definitely see Yeovil scoring today!
