Will forest be the highest attendence of the season on sunday?

Need to get a ticket for Sunday.

I am pretty sure I sat in the John Street family stand last year with the boy. This does not appear to be available online, or the Westfield corner which is often mentioned as a good spot.

Are these locations only available by phone?

South Stand - with the restrictions on adults requiring children to sit in the family stand, these are available on the phone

As for Westfield Upper, is it open? It says this on the website:

The prices, agreed with Nottingham Forest and the Football Association, in all home areas of the stadium (except the Westfield Upper Corner) are...

Forest have sold the initial 4,751 and are in discussions with us about getting more.

Come on Blades, get down and make it a full house for a change. I'm sick of seeing thousands of red seats every week!

Biggest crowd at the Lane this season was 27,000 plus for the England-Scotland U21 game, so we might be pushing it to beat that. We had 15k of our own fans for the Fulham home game which was on tv and had a daft ko time of 1pm, if we give Forest all the 7,500+ on BL I'd hope for at least 25k.

Got my Kop ticket this morning and availability to good pretty much everywhere. I'm not expecting more than 17,5000

So you think there will be less home fans than at the original Fulham game, even though this is the next round, not on TV and against a local(ish) side we dislike?

Does anyone remember when we played Burnley in January 1993, and they sold out the Bramall Lane end, so bizarrely, we also gave them a block of tickets at the KOP end of the South Stand? Weird.

Ah, good point! 23,122 then.

Got mine on-line today and the "availability" on the Kop is huge compared to a league game, so either STH's are swerving it again or going to get them later.

There were massive queues outside the ticket office at 2:45 on Saturday so I must say I'm surprised.

I'd imagine a lot of Kopites will take the chance to go in the side stands for the same price as a Kop ticket. Full on the SS and JSS and empty on the Kop maybe??

I waited 55 mins "for the last time" to get mine and Ken Jnrs tix this afts - good job I had a load of emails to write - how much would that little stint have cost me in phone bills though :(

Every chance seeing as its not on tv is it?

Plus don't pick.on the fans who crawl out the woodwork, can you imagine our days at wembley with just the loyal 16-18k

We'd look like a reght bunch with all those empty seats on show..

More the merrier...

A work mate went down to get his on his lunch today and asked if the tickets were selling well and got the reply "there's more than plenty left" so unless a big change of heart comes around I am expecting around the 22k mark.

I was caller number sixteen in the queue on the phone this afternoon. Gave up and purchased on the computer.

Reasonable number of seats left in the GAC stand here and there.

Looking forward to a good match and trip.

You gave us another allocation of tickets for the away end., heard rumours of 700-800 and they have all sold out as well. so about 6000 altogether, got mine, but loads missed out.

I'm guessing that final allocation was one of the blocks in the Bramall Lane corner, probably the one to the right below the Westfield Health badge in the picture below. I don't think more than 12-14,000 Blades will turn up; it's the third of four home games in a row and there's still an air of apathy about it.

Oh, and the pitch will look nothing like this. Hope neither team is planning on playing fluid, quick passing football...

Absolutely loads of tickets left on the kop. Limited in the south stand apart from gangways A and B were tickets are in plenty supply.

hearing that lots of Forest are trying to get tickets in the home end.. how does your system work, we have to have a client reference number at Forest... and im guessing that they;ll be checking postcodes, to try and keep em' out.

They'll not have too much luck. You have to be registered with a customer number on our system with your full name and address. Anyone registering in the next few days with a Nottingham address will be turned away I would imagine...

In hindsight, if the demand for tickets is that high from Forest, perhaps we should have allocated them the John Street as well, perhaps an extra 5000, making their allocation 11000. The John street is sparsely populated these days, more so on a cup match day.

It seems strange that their hasn't been an official announcement on how many extra tickets that have got allocated. Also i don't know the logistics of it from a safety point of view but I don't see the problem in this. We are miles off from it being anywhere close to been a sell out. Could house them in the first 2 gangways in the john street, similar to what villa did with us. Would by extra money for both clubs, and a better atmosphere.

On another point, I'm interested to see how south yorkshire police go about policing this on sunday. They seem to be the only police force in england that can't deal with a decent away following. If the rumours that forest have only 6000 are true then there is no way that there wasn't involvement from the SYP in restricting this.

Sod off, why should I have to move from my seat :)

If so I'd tell them to try and get tickets in the South Stand in G and H sections. It's right next to the away end so they should be ok in there.

Happy to help. :)

Why on earth would you want to give the Florists more than 6000 tickets it would not make for a better atmosphere thats for sure
We have home advantage and its supposed to be that an advantage giving them 11000 is a fekking ridiculous idea.
Im sure they would do it for us

Ha ha Sadly not, I work an 8-2 rotation (although I've worked 11 this time to be home for me mums birthday) so I won't get back next time until after Easter

I see that you have been back a few times Swiss.. Expensive coming from where my Mazda Cx5 (brilliant) was made

Just a shame that the Blades fans can't be as much up for the game as the Forest fans, then we wouldn't be having this conversation.
