He started his tenure with a fairly positive approach. Entertaining to watch but mixed results.
Then he became much more cautious and conservative. Many assumed that this was because he knew he needed better players in january - as he frequently mentioned that he wanted to 'stay in touch'. Crap to watch - still mixed results.
Now we all know that he has no new players to push on with and has to rely on existing talent.
Does he try and entertain again? Does he pick Adams (no longer needing to be wrapped in cotton wool for a sale) Does he play Baxter in his strongest position - rather than out on the left, at the defensive base of some diamond or just sat on the bench? Does he give JCR a chance to attack and entertain?
It may make our situation worse, but on the other hand a few entertaining victories may just inspire players and fans alike for the play off push.
