Sorry, you’re obviously showing how it should be done.

Its a discussioin about a football match, you might agree you might disagree. Throwing insults around just shows what your true character is. If you don't like differences of opinions, maybe this forum isn't for you, Facebook groups are more tolerant in insulting each other.

Get off your high horse. You’ve shown yourself up again and should take the flak instead of digging deeper. As for “my true character” I’m not jerking my knees creating a thread whenever something like this happens.

Flak about an opinion? Bore off pal. Your like a stuck record. You don't agree with my opinion, move on... you seem to be taking it to heart.

Ok, I'll criticise him for not changing his philosophies when 2-0 up against one of the biggest clubs in the world... It's the same thing.
I admire your confidence in thinking that you know better how to use the squad to protect our lead than CW.
Personally, call me crazy, but I will go with Wilder's judgement. 😂

Yes, flak about an opinion, that’s how it can work on here and in the real world. The irony.

Yeah, you don't agree with me, move on..........

Theres telling me im wrong, and why and theres insulting me... you did the insulting, I took it (and laughed) now move on.

Man U threw their attacking options on and sadly that was enough for them to score against our reserve centre half and our League One keeper. Not a whole lot we can do about that given the relative resources of the two clubs. Give the opposition some credit and realise that's what they're capable of - scoring good goals even when not playing well as a whole.

But mostly, people are so incredibly results oriented in their thinking. If we sit back and concede then they'll say we should've kept pushing forward. If we push forward and concede then they'll say why on Earth didn't we go for the kill.

And that's ignoring that we were already going to take Mousset off before he pulled up injured because, well, we don't want him to get fucking injured.

Subs...

2 strikers come on when were 2-0 up at home to Man Utd.. just see the game out with a couple of midfielders.

Man Utd go 3-2 up and instantly bring a defender on.

That's the difference. Too attack minded when winning these games.
Oh dear .......,,

Perspective like we outplayed a Man United team for 70mins but still allowed them to score 3 goals in 6 minutes?

I think it was 2pts dropped, not 1 gained.
When you posted this, during the game you weren’t to know that we’d equalise... which kind of makes the initial post less credible

ManUre have class players and we were unlucky that it clicked for them just as it we started tire. Nothing to do with Wilders subs, he expects his forwards to run themselves into the ground and then he brings on fresh legs... one of whom happened to score, set by one of the others.

How?

We were 3-2 down when I posted, and I've always thought about Wilders subs when losing/close battles haven't always been great, I posted because I truly believe the choice of subs costed us the win today (and I still do), which as of right now, a 3-3 draw remains the same outcome, even after McBurnies goal, because we didn't win, which is the entire theme of this original post, some people obviously have difficulty getting their head around that or are just arrogant enough to ignore it.

You could say, but McBurnie A SUB rescued the game...... but I'd say my original point was that we wouldn't have been in a 3-2 losing position in the 89th minute with a different choice of subs.

Of course, we could've brought Besic and Osborn on and drew 3-3 still... I'd have been praising us for trying to see out the game against MANCHESTER UNITED at home whilst 2-0 up.

Again, my opinion... everyones welcome to theirs and I haven't replied to anyone having a go, insulting just because they disagree with me, so why should others?

Wilder is our best manager in my lifetime for sure, but he certainly isn't exempt from any critisicm.

I get what you are saying but I am not sure sitting back as Man Utd throw their entire forward line on the pitch would have been the smartest idea.

I do think Robinson should have come on for Moose and kept getting behind them with pace. Robinson's form seems to have picked up lately while away with Ireland and he links up better with Didsy than McBurnie.

And when Mr Clough instructed our players to take the ball into the corners when winning 1-0
You probably applauded him for his fantastic thinking
Well Done Sheffield United and well played that’s how football should be played
Disappointed we didn’t win, when we should have , as will the players but when you get upset 😡 for not beating Man Utd you know your doing something right
Thank you Sir Chris

Why would I be gutted. He scored and Utd came away with a point.
That’s the problem on here. Do you know how to attach a pic of a bandwagon on here?

Your wasting your time, because people are refusing to acknowledge we were 2-0 up with SEVENTEEN minutes to go, and somehow the 90th minute equalizer means we STOLE a point............. fml

Besic and Osborn have hardly played a game and can’t play up front...

So you take off the injured striker, replace him with Osborn in midfield, go to a back 4 and then have 1 up top... when we’re 2-0 up at home and cruising. Their first was totally out of the blue.

The problem is Clough did that with 10mins to go. I don't expect us to put the ball in the corner for 17 minutes, but some on. The extra midfield bodies would have prevented at least two of their goals tonight. Who was marking Williams for example?
