baffling

Signs players who cant get a game when the likes of Stevens and lunny (among others) have been shite for months.

Freeman - never had a chance when he did it was off the bench
Robinson - played 16 games for us
Lowe - not played
Bogle - not played
Verrips - not played
Fodderingham - not played

How hes convinced the board to pay 23.5m for brewster I will never know. His track record is BAD.
You do realise how much of a tit you sound, right?

You've just said Wilder’s signings have been BAD, I've just highlighted about 11 players who are playing today and have got us from league 1 to the prem and stay, within 5 years. So his signings aren't BAD are they.
4 years 4 months he's been with us.

Shut up you pathetic attention seeking pillock.
Bell end comment

There lies the problem. Too loyal to them 👍
Yeah ok... right enough

freeman never quite stepped up when it mattered, not entirely his fault but Ozzy has done what freeman couldn’t/ didnt.
Robinson is in now. In development
bogle - future
Lowe - future
McBurnie - present and future, started season with an injury, Hence recall from scotland
Verrips - back up
Fotheringham - back up
Rammers - first team and class keeper
Mousse - injured
ampadu - stepped up when needed, played well.
Berge - looks quality.
Burke - looks pacey and lively
Robinson - showed spells, but wasn’t quite quick enough to step up.
Henderson - wold class, couldn’t keep him or afford him

not every signing will work out, wilder has always been quick to move players out that don’t work out or we don’t have the time to develop.

but recent signings since we came to the prem have been targeted as young, hungry and athletic. We’re a side in transition and that’s clear. We have a Clear recruitment policy - sign players we can increase the value of.

why have the board sanctioned over £100m worth of signings since we came up? Because they share the vision of the manager to develop, progress and increase the value of the squad whilst reducing the age

Yeah. And Brewster contributed NOTHING too.

One of our major assets last season was our confidence, as any side when results are going your way the confidence is there, we haven't looked like our old selves for some time and our confidence is looking low, wilder and Knill will be working hard this week, let's hope Brewster and ano possibly help lift the spirits before our next game, Fulham is it? Big game but very winnable, win that and a good performance will lift the spirits of the players and we go again.
Keep the faith.

It was also togetherness of a group who’d been together for several years. That’s naturally breaking up a little now as we bring in new blood.

We’ll be fine, just need to transition this one

I can't even be arsed to listen to CWs post match interview today (and usually love listening to him). He's partly responsible for today's latest negative shit show.

Yes the refs and VAR haven't helped us, but for fucks sake United help yourself by playing positive football.

Exactly how I feel. I need to know he can see how poor we are going forward and that he’s going to address it. That’s it

I do think we’ll turn it around. But I do think Wilder may have needed today to see we need to change things up a bit. That 4-3-1-2 we ended with could be a game changer.

Maybe now is the time to bring Lowe and Bogle in. Maybe now is the time to get Didz back in the 10 position to get us on the front foot again. If we want to get the best of Rhian Brewster then we need to get back to some attacking verve again.

Agree - for the first time under CW we look scared to play, and fear if we concede the first goal

Not sure if other have worked out our play, heads are down, missing 12th man - probably a bit of all, but we need to try something different or the definition of insanity will come into question

Last season, how we played, if we went behind I thought we would still end up with something from the game as we were positive.

This season, when the inevitable happens, and we go behind, it's game over.

Agree mate, let's get Verrips and Fotheringham in the 11, that'll do it...

I'm talking about this seasons dealings. Is it hard to understand?
Didn’t realise Robinson, freeman and verrips were signed this season? Foderingham is a Backup gk, bogle and Lowe haven't played yet, all of 4 games. Keep digging.

Callum Robinson, came back off a loan and never given a chance, again.

Freeman, sold this summer after what, 6 starts? Shocking business.

The good Adkins news is we're only 3 points behind Manure and 4 points behind City so we're actually better then last season..................

People already lining up to get on the Wilder out train. Nauseating. We are the paupers of the Premier League: fourth bottom is a miracle and anything above that is dreamland. We go down, then we go again as a stronger club than when we were last there.

🤣 Foderingham is a keeper. Last time I checked you only have one on the pitch at a time. When would you have had him play? He's come in as a number 2.

Still attention seeking?
You history showed you tried to gain attention pretending to be “in the know“, regards potential transfers...but that backfired badly.
So now you’re doing an impression of Brian the Blade....exaggerating or giving outrageous points.

Re Freeman- Wilder has admitted he never got a chance because he changed his tactics early season meaning Freeman was surplus. Re Robinson - Wilder wanted him to play as a floating striker but CR couldn’t adapt...at WBA he’s gone back out on the wing and is must better in that position but we don’t use wingers.
Verrips and Fodderingham are just back up keepers...probably on a low wage and happy to be backup.

You have a point about Bogle and Lowe and I expect them to be given a chance sooner or later.
A great quality of a manager is to show loyalty to the top performers. Its disrespectful and gives a bad example of team spirit if Enda and Baldock or cast aside after 2 or 3 games. Wilder will give 2 great servants of our club full support but he’ll make them both aware that Lowe and Bogle are waiting in the wings.

Be annoyed, yes, but fucking wake up , we have gone from league one to the prem in a short time, and you question the man that has delivered more than we could ever have imagined, ffs

We have not become a bad team in a matter of months.

Other teams look stronger, and have spent more money than we can afford. Early days yet.

HH

First thread I read tonight.
Slightly more reactionary than even my worst case anticipated.

Night lads, see you tomorrow.....

....maybe.

Not happy with wilder’s comments in the post-match interview, along the lines of “we can’t expect to come and get points against arsenal”. Need to get back to the attitude post liverpool home game last season. Think maybe the whole squad (management included) need a bit of a confidence boost. Let’s just hope that is a demolition of fulham in two weeks and getting back on track

Maybe he can't think bigger?

The OP is a clown, simple as that.

The team looked utterly clueless until Billy came on and the formation changed. I’m not suggesting Billy was the difference - because he wasn’t. But once the formation changed, we actually got at Arsenal and looked a different side.
I wish that Mcburnie and Billy would stay central and get in the fucking box instead of pissing about on the wing, particularly when we need a goal. We desperately need som creativity and drive in the centre of the park. As good as Berge looks, and does look a proper player - much of his work is ineffective at the moment.

Bogle not even risked , Lowe looks scared to death , Burke not given a run , Brewster not ready , Calum was a mistake , Freeman loaned out , Moose lazy , Rodwell never seen , Jags too old/slow , Bryan not risked , and the ones who haven't made the step up , McB can't score , Osborn inconsistent , Jack Robinson prone to errors ..... We are basically playing with the side that got promotion minus Hendo & JoC but plus Berge.
Tell me how the first team has improved for £120m ?
