Wilson OK, he was getting bullied and wasn't getting much of the ball, that said Donaldson at home is not the Donaldson away, I would have reunited Sharp with Clarke, still think they are our best front 2.

Leonard timing was correct as he'd done little in the game but for Lundstram?? Why? Evans was playing really well and what we needed was Duffy. They were going forward, controlling the ball and the space on offer for Duffy to work his magic was on offer, they certainly would not have man marked him like recent sides at the Lane have done.

Evans for Holmes was the strangest, unless Evans picked up a knock there was no way he should have been subbed, when he went off the shape of the midfield vanished and it was that moment for me that gave Villa the upper hand. Grealish all of a sudden became the dominant force in the middle and it wasn't a surprise they went on to win it at that stage.

CW will have his reasons but I can't see them tonight, they backfired.

Tbh thought Evans started to look very tired before he was taken off. Was giving the ball away, and wasn’t having the same impact defensively

I'm not saying he doesn't, and you can usually agree with his subs even if we don't win. Tonight's were just not right.

We lost all shape after the subs. Id have spaced them out for continuity. Duff needed a run to use the middle more as our wing play was non existent in the 2nd half, apart from when bash kept giving it away. We fuck about too much and lose possession.

Hate to be harsh on CW but that’s now two home League games in a row where he has got the subs badly wrong.

Needed Duffy badly, and when we use Donaldson off the bench we tend to start lumping it
