Agree but I'm more concerned about younger players. Why do people like Sarr and Dennis look like Olympic sprinters but Jebbo and Brewster look like they couldn't run for a bus.I was infuriated to see Fleck in the side particularly seeing who was on the bench.
He offered absolutely nothing in attack, doesn't win the ball, doesn't make forward runs, passes the ball 5 yards backwards and sideways and just cops out.
Lets face it, Pep isn't sending Doyle and McAtee to sit on the bench so hopefully that could spell the end for Fleck. He's delivered memories that will last a lifetime but his race is most definitely run and has been for a while.
Needs good players around him to perform? So basically he's fucking shit as well. Good players stand out no matter what!Norwood isn’t an issue for me but he needs good players around him to perform. The usual grim performances tonight from the other two you’ve mentioned though.
Norwood is an issue for me. He's too inconsistent. One of the best players one match, totally invisible or ineffective the next. In a 46 game season you get 23 good performances from him. A good midfielder performs every match and makes things happen for themselves to get involved when others aren't getting them involved. For a player who can ping the ball 50 yards with the outside of his boot with pinpoint accuracy, I'm baffled as to why his set piece deliveries are so woeful and always have been. For a player who takes nearly all our corners and free kicks, the lack of goals or chances created from them is piss poor. He's massively over rated in my opinion and we could do a lot better.Norwood isn’t an issue for me but he needs good players around him to perform. These players have past their best. Will get a thank-you from me though.People have quickly forgotten the Forest second leg.
I can pick some holes tonight and it was disappointing to gift them the goal the way we did but I'm finding a few appraisals of individuals a bit OTT.
have you not seen my FM career with BlayardsWell yes we should fuck them all off because they're gash, but I don't see how it's the fault of the greatest manager United will ever have?
He can have em at boro then.Well yes we should fuck them all off because they're gash, but I don't see how it's the fault of the greatest manager United will ever have?

booooMakes no odds, you'll still get booed out of the club, that's how every manager ends up thanks to our shit fans.
Not like he had a stellar preseason either.I was infuriated to see Fleck in the side particularly seeing who was on the bench.

Because they are top players. And to think we could have signed Dennis for less than Brewster !Agree but I'm more concerned about younger players. Why do people like Sarr and Dennis look like Olympic sprinters but Jebbo and Brewster look like they couldn't run for a bus.
Norwood is actually very consistent, good against the poor and non pressing teams. Crap against athletic teams like WatfordNorwood is an issue for me. He's too inconsistent. Because Watford mf shift the ball to them in a split second and our creaking mf fanny about for vital seconds , giving our strikers no advantageous balls to run ontoAgree but I'm more concerned about younger players. I'd class taking corners as having the ball in space and look what he does with those.Norwood needs someone to win the ball around him but that player in our squad does not exist and at the moment he has to do it himself, but too slow, so it ain’t going to work pinging the ball to out wing backs. So either get quicker (no) or get w someone around you to give you the ball in space
I’ll give Fleck 2/10 but only cos his yellow card along with Cleverley’s @ 22/1 gave me a little wedge. Other than that he was totally anonymous. That was full Jimmy tonight. I hope he doesn’t get game time again this season because that was infuriating to watch. He gets 1/10. Berge 3/10.

I haven't forgotten the second leg, after the first 20 minutes we were really good. Sadly I remember the first leg where we got fucking spanked.
Selective memory and blind faith give you a nice, warm fuzzy feeling, sad then when reality kicks in and you saw tonight, just how poor these once decent footballers have become.
You do realise most of the players can’t stand him?Stevens, Fleck and Norwood. Thanks for the memories lads![]()
Is that in my local "walking-football" league ?I for one am already looking forward to the 2042-43 season with the 52 year old Fleck and Norwood bossing our midfield.
