Wilders next club then?

I hope he spends the next 12 months or so travelling with his wife & visits the great cities of Europe. Relaxes, recharges his batteries & perhaps looks in on a number of games & training sessions, picks up some new ideas and gets the juices flowing again. There’s no need to rush into another job.

Bit of room to get some punditry in there somewhere.

Provided he has indeed left the club, not confirmed of course. Where do you reckon we’ll see him next? He is seemingly reluctant to work alongside a DoF so that pretty much rules him out of any established prem team, so it’s a tricky one. Does he go back down the leagues to a Charlton or Ipswich and resurrect their fortunes or hold out for a more attractive offer.
In the immortal words of Rhett Butler, "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn".

If he gets Newcastle......He’s a very lucky boy. Crystal Palace could also be a reality if Roy quits. But what I fear most is the raft of under performing Championship clubs who could take a punt on Wilder.

I see Salford City and i do wonder whether Chris would take it on as a project, just sacked there manager. He would piss League Two and i think he’d get em up consecutively, could really raise the stock of that club, he might be tempted if offered shares similar to PA offered

I think once the dust settles down and CW realises there is a very very small pool of clubs in the prem who would consider him eg Newcastle/Palace

He will regret leaving us and realise it was mistake absolutely no need to walk out how he has done

Hopefully he comes to his senses and gets an application sent in
I hate to say this, I really do because I've been a really big Wilder fan, but it does seem Chris wanted the club to evolve but he wasn't happy to apply that to himself.

Wants us to grow, invest, develop but not prepared to hand off any authority to the wider group.

It's like when they go on Dragon's Den. I'd like x, y, z and I'm prepared to give up 0% to get it!

A PLC wouldn't function the same as a Sole Trader and neither can a top level football club run the same as a third tier one.

If experts are offering support, maybe that's what it is. It doesn't mean people are out to get you or undermine you.

So having read the title of the thread and realising it is about our EX-manager, why the hell did you carry on reading it?

Why not start your own 'Princy wet dreams' thread and leave the clappers to muse about where CW might end up?

Why would I start a 'Princy wet dreams' thread?

Have I said ' omg princy is such amazeballs!!! '?

Nope.

I hope he doesn't go to a team we'll be playing next season. I can see him going to Sunderland if they don't go up. He had taken a number of clubs from an underperforming position and had success with them. Would suit his style of hands on management as well. Allow him to mould the club.

Hopefully not the pigs

I think he’ll end up getting the Newcastle gig. I really do believe that they’re gonna get relegated and Bruce will get the boot as a result.

Yes and those shameless cunts would dress it up as Wilder moving to a bigger club.......No, there’s plenty of clubs out there for Wilder, without having to defile himself at Swilsborough.

I thought they already replace their manager.

Only until the end of the season, personally would love to see what Wilder could do at that club, i wonder it Neville et all could sell him the dream?
I don't they are the type of owners Wilder will want to work with.

They were interfering with transfers on that documentary.

Agree , Chris had the chance to be manager for 10+ Years he threw that away because he couldn't take help with transfers which he has shown is his weak point

There is zero chance he gets another chance like that and zero chance he gets the chance to have a connection between club/manager/fans for what getting the west brom job

Remains a Blades Legend and will be welcomed back on the terraces with us on a Saturday (if his PL team is playing on Sunday / Friday).

No need to get narky cos he's not in the hero worship crewe ....Wilder has made his choices.
We are sheffield united fans not Chris wilder fans

More 'bemused' than 'narky'.

Why come on this thread when it is obvious what it is about?

Nowt to do with 'hero worship' although fortunately, Big Brother hasn't yet wiped my mind, of the four fantastic years from 2016.

I don't think there's any chance of him getting the Newcastle job, Preston is my tip.

Eddie Howe is now odds on favourite to take over at Celtic

Mousett to Celtic maybe ?

If he can get his mojo back under Eddie Howe in a team that play football, he'd tear it up in Scotland.

Good news for us is we might get £5 - £7 million of our money back.

Good news for Mousett is that a good season will attract a £20 million bid from another desperate Premier League club

Why would Howe want him? He probably couldn't believe his luck when we signed him.

That’s like saying we’re not allowed to talk about Tony Currie because he left us for Leeds. We’ve got a stand named after him.

I'm always interested in what our notable ex players and managers do. I just assumed everybody was

I can't help but feel Wilders legacy has been tainted after what PA said the other day .
I'm taking it at face value .
And if wilder can't say anything because he signed a agreement not to , then for me that further taints his legacy .
I never thought he would lower himself to take hush money , I had a higher opinion of him than that .
Its just all very unsavoury....
Trying to resign and asking for 4 million , I can't understand his logic on that one .
